If you want to genuinely take a compliment, the best thing you can do, is see it from the other's point of view, Camie. Embrace it. Come to terms with it. Don't deny it, even if you don't believe it. Accept their words even if you don't agree. Be chill with it.

Or you know…you can just say "Thank You" and accept that if many people are saying something similar than perhaps they are right.
