- These previous posts about LGBT+ people are missing the point, LGBT+ people have been and are oppressed, having to fight for rights at the risk of violence. Straight/cis people aren't told that they're inherently wrong and don't have to worry about discrimination. Tumblr posts can be and are jokes, and there is already lots of biphobia and transphobia on that website. LGBT+ people will immerse themselves in its culture, especially after they've come out of the closet and/or they've been oppressed. Instead of worrying about some "heterophobia" a young teenager wrote, I would be more concerned about pervasive state and judicial discrimination of LGBT+ people around the world
