I honestly stopped giving an f. there is literally NOTHING stopping them from doing this. The lessons we learned in health, that guest speaker that gave us that whole talk in the eighth grade (and yeah i knew most of them from middle school)… it's just, whatever, none of my business.

I do. I honestly don't mind other races wearing braids, hooped ear rings, and bantu knots and such– as long as they aren't making fun of the culture. But then again, I kinda do see the other side of things with the whole double-standards.

Also, the reason why cultural appropriation exists is for more important things than hairstyles. For example, when we learn about inventions and such, we tend to learn about European and American inventors. But there are some things that POC came up with first, but they just didn’t affect the West as much so they aren’t talked about. In situations like that, it makes sense. But when you’re talking about some petty stuff, it’s pointless.
