I don't mind it, I just don't think it's something I would be able to ship. They don't know each other… like at all. They fought together a couple of times, thanked each other, and then never spoke. Never showed any genuine emotion toward each other. Honestly, Keith has shown way more affection toward Lance in one episode than he did in all of the scenes he's ever been in with Axca. Like, I'm not saying that Klance is canon king, but Klance is canon king.

Okay so I'm a hardcore klance shipper but allurance I cannot bring myself to ship. Just because allura spends the first 6 seasons rejecting lance and then all of a sudden she likes him??? like even in season 6 she becomes really sad when she finds out lance likes her. and they don't really have enough development to be canon. and just aaahhhhhh

honestly you guys, im kind of burned out on voltron. personally, i feel like we got queerbaited many times over (most likely because of dreamworks than anything) and the fandom is just insane. I used to love it, but now i might not even watch s8. :(

That's kinda the main reason I don't surf Tumblr for VLD stuff anymore, because 50% of the stuff I find is toxicity. I'm really only watching season 8 because it's the final one. I also do think it was Dreamworks who was actually queerbaiting us, because I don't think LM and the others working on the show wanted this. Some of my friends think that the reason there's so much Klance stuff in canon is because the cast & crew actually really wanted Klance to be canon and just weren't allowed to make it that way

Yeah I don't think I'm going to watch season 8. This show has been a disappointment

Yeah, and i dont blame the cast/crew at all. I think they really had wanted to make thier show more diverse but dreamworks wouldnt allow it

I think you can tell that a lot of people on the show wanted some gay because there's a picture of where they work or something and there's a shitload of klance art on there lmao

sigh Honestly at this point, I dont think think that any lgbtq dreams will become canon

Also, considering there's a really good chance that one of the characters (Runaan) is part of the LGBTQIA+ community (in a couple of the credit drawings there was a male elf that is most likely his lover), most people don't want Voltron fans turning it into something bad or ruining it

basically, the dragon prince is better than voltron at representation, and that's just factzz

I want to watch that show but I don't want to betray voltron
even though I'm starting to kinda dislike voltron

It's really good! Each character is amazing and diverse, and they're all really complex. The overall plot is great, and I can't wait for season 2. It kinda feels like the type of show that's going to be big

The animation is a little wonky but its really pretty onceyou get used to it.

honestly I love voltron/tdp so much and I was siked to hear about rep in both of them
and like yeah adam’s death was disappointing
but honestly so far every time I hear producers of a kids show say “there will be an lgbt character!!’
I get super excited until I realize it’s prolly just gonna be another gay man.
like yeah it’s a start and any rep is great in the first place, but if the character is just gonna be straight up gay then maybe don’t waste time using the whole acronym? Idk
