That's what I mean.
I do think that the writers make nods to it honestly but I don't think it's a thing canonically.

A religious person who's never seen Supernatural before here, if we're to look at this from the way angels are actually believed to be, then yes, all angels are technically asexual and cannot physically get those desires. Devils on the other hand…

It’s actually supposed to be canon. Dean was scripted to say “I love to you to Cas” but Jensen felt Dean wouldn’t just come out and say it. Also apparently Cas’s heaven is covered in naked pictures of Dean
