I'm beginning a story with one of the main character's death (she comes back as a ghost) and I need ideas as to what the gates to the afterlife look like.
I've written it so far as a blank plane, with whatever is needed to explain the afterlife to her just appearing from nowhere. Also, she has a specific angel assigned to her case, who appeared as a vaguely humanoid blinding light.
I'm early in the writing stage here, so I'm open to suggestions.
What Do You See After You Die
It could be person specific, each person seeing the entrance to the place they loved most.
Well, it would sorta depend on her religion. For example, I’m a Christian, so I believe you go to Heaven after you die.
