i really love it when both of the characters are rivals, but like, they admire each other and want to get the other to like them

also consider the "pair-of-walking-disasters-who-literally-cannot-function-without-the-other-at-this-point"

Ooo~ That first one reminds me of Shouko Nishimiya & Shouya Ishida from A Silent Voice! (I mean Shouya was basically a bully so idk if that counts) The second one is just plan hilarious 😂

I absolutely love the bantering archetypes! Aka the two that won’t stop insulting each other but the crowd loves them both anyway. (Mainly thinking Sam & Diane from Cheers)

The chaotic dumbasses. Bonus points if they're actually super competent in their respective fields, but put them together and you have two idiots trying to make a tuna-hunting fishing pole out of scrap and barbed wire or some shit like that.
