Thank you Lily, I really appreciate it. ^^) I never really ask anyone for help because I don’t like to bother anybody. 😅 I’m kind of a “Do it alone” kind of person lol. But I know there are times when we can only do things alone to a certain degree! (and that’s when the helping hands come in haha) I’m deeply appreciative, thank you for being so kind ♡

OMG okay so a family member of mine had an operation recently, and the first time she had it, she was extremely stressed, her blood pressure spiked, all that. THE SECOND TIME THO
she said she felt so calm and peacful and it was because she felt someone holding her hand the whole time. She asked the surgeon about it, who said no-one in the op room had done that. She is convinced (I am too) it was an angel

Okay. So.
I’m in Canada. Ontario, to be exact. I normally don’t pay attention to the news, and I have no idea if y’all in other countries are aware, exactly, of the situation up here, with the truckers and whatnot. But. My friend’s stepdad has a truck. A 70-footer. No biggie, right? He’s out of town now, and this is from my friend herself, who doesn’t exactly know what’s going on herself. But people are hiding and selling their trucks, innocent people who don’t want to be associated with the truckers. My friend’s stepdad has a criminal history. Nothing serious, he’s changed, he’s a great man. Really nice. But the cops won’t see it that way. They’ll just see his ex-con side, and arrest him.
If that weren’t bad enough, my friend got a phone call. Her home phone, not hers. They’re pretty sure it was one of the truckers. He threatened to r@pe and k!ll my friend’s stepdad’s wife and children if he did anything. It’s a general threat, and the stepdad only has one child, which means that they don’t really know alot about them. Still.
My friend doesn’t know if her stepdad will come back a free man, or even alive. If the truckers wanted to carry out the threat and did a bit of research, they could find her house. The school. Her grandparents, and biological dad.
I asked her, and she’s fine with people praying for her and her stepdad and family.

I think it started out as normal people protesting the mask mandate. But there are ex-paratroopers among them. People with military training and minds, with nothing left to lose. Literally. Their jobs - gone, because of the mandates. What they thought they lived for has been stripped away from them.
They are literally prepared to die for this cause.
Now it's about…what? Overthrowing the government, making a "better world", stuff like that.
They gang up on police, beat them up when they go patrolling. We're talking six or seven fully armed, trained police officers.
The Head of Police for Ottawa, I think, stepped down today because of it. Not even stepped down. Full-on retired.
It's scary. The good truckers are gone now. It's just chaos.
They wave Nazi flags.
They have millions in funding. TENS of millions.
And they're giving Christians a bad rap. Lots of them are Christians, so now people are looking down on Christians, like we're all going to want to join them dowtown beating up police and trying to overthrow the government.

@gabs_the_obsessive_writer Oh! My friend and I where talking about this one time! He said he usually rewards himself snacks whenever he gets something he doesn’t want to do done! XD He has a little box of cakes that he keeps in his room, so whenever he gets assignment or chore done, he gets one! I think it’s a cute little way to keep yourself motivated haha ♡

typically self-set rules or deadlines are hard for me to follow cause i'm like "I can have this when i'm done" and my brain is like "or you could now" and i'm thinking that the person who set these rules (me) is full of it so sure why not lol
I'm getting a little better about it, i think, but that could work. Maybe I can enlist my sister as an acountability friend, if you will.
