It could be a human, animal, alien, or anything else, pretty much. Just kind of curious.
My personal favorite is Aurora, a character I wrote about a while ago. I just kinda like her nature and how she interacts with everyone.

Who is your favorite character?
I'm starting to like as character I made named Bennet, his mindset, his aesthetics, and his concept are all awesome, he's neither good nor bad, but he is extremely intelligent and extremely powerful.
Shuriken, The word "Bennet" reminds me of Pride and Prejudice :P
I really like James (aka Sawyer) from LOST. He's not my absolute favorite (I don't have one), but he came to mind first.
Bennett, the name, means Blessed, the character's last name, is Kurjak, which is Slavic for Wolf. He's an abstract kami-jin of neutrality.
