Henry, weβre not trying to be mean (and texting makes it extremely hard to show that), but making a private message (PM) group chat like that without first double-checking if people want to be in it is not a good way to get friends. It makes people uncomfortable, some more than others. Itβs a courtesy thing to check first if people like or want to be PMed, and the best ways to do that is to, one, check their profile, and, two, make a public thread first. It makes people less uncomfortable like that, and itβs more polite.
