Nah, not really. I'm pretty sure we eat most of the same stuff as any other Americans, but the South is just really well-known for fried foods and comfort foods, and then seafood (which is often fried too, but you know, that's just how things work around here). There's also a lot of hunting, and venison (deer meat) is pretty common too, so not so much livestock- at least, not on our own farms. We just buy beef and all of that at grocery stores. (I say that like I live on a farm, when I really don't. I actually live just outside a bigger city, and there's no rural area for at least a county away.)

Greetings from Michigan. We have to put up with bears. On our lawn. At three in the (bleep)ing morning! I mean, I'm tired of having to chase those pests away! It gets boring as (bleep) after the first time doing it. And it takes away precious sleep.

You talk about hail like it's unusual??? We get it with really bad storms, too. Also, the South just panics at the mere mention of snow. We missed a whole week of school almost right after winter break because it snowed and no one can drive in it.

The town I live in never had hail no joke.

Hmmm. We get it with really severe summer storms and tropical storms. Heck, we've even had a couple of hurricanes these past few years, and I'm pretty sure they brought hail. Weather has been wild here recently, and we sure aren't prepared for any of it.

We're definitely not scared of snow! 😂 We love it and are (because it's a rarity for at least Louisiana) and if we do have snow the schools shut down not because they're scared that's it's "dangerous" (like just 2 inches of it) they shut down because they know that everybody is going to be playing with it!

Wow I live in like the middle of the USA! I don't deal with hurricanes, tornadoes,(except that one time…) hail, (just where I live) and ect.
