Laughs as she runs screaming at Thomas and Serpentess and bear hugs. I thought I’d lost you!

I smile, hugging you back, stumbling a little Never. I made a promise, no?

Accepts the hug with laughing glee. You didn’t lose me. I’ve just been busy, and lurking around, lol.

Grins and laughs, linking arms with you both. Don’t leave! You scared me!

I shrug, smirking Like I would ever leave my best friend. I may be an idiot, but I'm not that dumb.

Snickers. Don’t worry, I love this place way too much to leave.

I chuckle Indeed.

Lily had to bounce out. She'll be back tomorrow. I sigh in relief I thought I'd lost her.

Alright. Happy smile.

I might get off here in a minute. Got some stuff to do. I’ll likely be on later, though.

Grins, watching from a distance

Smiles at Meep. Well, it’s not like I’d ever let you, Thomas. You’ll never lose me.
Ruffles Serpentess’ hair. Good. Stay.
Waves at Sam to join the hug.

Chuckles and walks over, hugging Lily

person_off

I laugh, waving a lazy hand in acknowledgement Yeah, I know. But fear is fear, and my past exacerbates fear.

I hug Sam back.
I sigh. Thomas, I would never leave ya by choice. Looks around. Any of you.

waves at Lily
This is very unrelated, but I want my snow back.

person_off

Waves back, calls over to the crow human. Join the hug!
Ah, the days of snow!

Joins the hug
"Crow human" and "Two Crows Person". Haha, I have cooler nicknames than E does now.

Yes, the glorious snow. I'm two months behind in my gardening because of it.

person_off

Grins. Just let meep adopt you, that’s where the best nicknames come from.

Ypgasps you garden?!

person_off

nods I do. And I birdwatch, and through both of those, I have developed an intense hatred of squirrels.
We had a litter of baby bunnies underneath our asparagus pit last year! They were tiny
And they killed our cantaloupe.

I hunt squirrels 🐿 lol
Awwwwww

All the squirrels in our yard are very fat. They steal from our garden all year, then steal from the bird feeders in the winter. AND they try to dig up our garlic and asparagus. Naughty naughty rodents.

J (small sister, middle child) tried to sell the bunnies to her classmates. Then we found out.

Snickers at having ruffled hair.

Watching everything. I missed the fun.

Crow, (if you don’t mind me calling you that), that’s cool that you garden and birdwatch.

person_off

Sure, why not. I'll be Crow.
Thanks. You see some really interesting things. There's an eagle that comes and goes, murdering baby robins, a heron who almost got his eyes pecked out by the mother of said baby robins and a turkey vulture that shows up, eats a fox and leaves again.
Not to mention the weirdest mating rituals between purple finches (though they may have been house finches).

Oof. That’s some very detailed birdwatching, lmao!

I only have a bird feeder out of my window, and there’s a few birds that visit. One is either sparrows or starlings, another is the American Goldfinch, then there’s a pair of Black-Headed Grosbeak, and then a fat Blue Jay (not sure what exactly he is).

person_off
Deleted user

Ha, yup.
Goldfinches are fun. Grosbeaks! I don't think we have those here. If you're not sure he's a Blue Jay, he could be a White-Breasted Nuthatch (only if you didn't see the head. If you saw the head, it's pretty clear who's who). We don't have Blue Jays. (well, we do, but they don't come to the feeder) We have one of those "squirrel-proof" (guess what? It is NOT, and the squirrels can get to all three feeders!) feeders that go by weight. Anything bigger than a cardinal is a no-no.
A Blue Jay came once. It got dive-bombed by a chickadee, couldn't get the food, and scared away a juvenile cardinal. It's never coming back lol.

Also, fun fact. I have hiccups that last for hours and seem to come nearly daily. The hiccups sound like Pileated Woodpeckers.

It’s a Blue Jay. I just don’t know what type. (I know a new bird now, yay! Lol!)

Interesting. I’ve just got a hanging bird feeder. I think it’s just a generic one, not sure.

Lol.

Oof, lol.

Hm. New people.
