Word Count Question:

Do y'all think 856 is too short for an intro chapter, obviously when I perfect detail it will get some more words but for now??

For an introduction, I'll say that it's going to be just fine. The trick with chapters is asking yourself: did I get everything I wanted to get done in this chapter? There's really no limit as to how long or short they have to be, from a few pages to a few hundred. And as you go back through and edit it, the word count will definitely change, so try not to worry too much on it!
