Dang. I forgot about Princess Bride.
I think that movie shaped my sarcasm.
(Mila, I'm glad I found some one who loves Treasure Planet as much as I do :) )
Your favorite movie?
Oh yes, it's such an underrated movie
It really is underrated… I watched an amazing video essay explaining how Disney probably marketed it all wrong on purpose to make it not as much of a success as it could have been. The video essay analyzed and praised (and critiqued) it as well.
Huh, that's cool
Coo.
They were originally going to make a sequel for it, but it was scrapped.
(Which was probably a good thing since Disney is pretty worthless at making sequels)
(Except LK2)
(TLK2! It's so great.)
AND GLEE! Not a movie but worth a mention
Ooh, I love The Princess Bride. AND GLEE IS GOOD I AGREE. Any other horror movie fans here?
Ugh. I really dislike the Horror genre.
I haven't seen any horror movies actually
Has anyone seen the Iron Giant?
Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes
Yes, that was one of my favorite movies when I was a kid.
I LOVE THE IRON GIANT ahhh so sad but so good
What movie(s) do you think influenced you the most as a smol kid?
What movie(s) do you think influenced you the most as a smol kid?
… VeggieTales…
O My gosh yes….
Star Wars was a big influence on my creativity as I am currently writing in the Sci-Fi genre.
Lol. I don't even remember half the things I watched as a kid…
Nope. Never mind. I actually just remembered a lot…
…Pocahontas, cause it's the only DVD my grandparents have
group
I'd say Star Wars
Aw yisss…
Welp, thought I'd drag this up to ask what y'all think of Avatar.
Avatar the tv show or the blue people movie? ATLA live action does not exist, so let it be written, so let it be done.
I'm talking about the one with the blue people (Na'vi) And I'm aware that ATLA live action does not exist.
Most of the Star Wars movies. Most of the Harry Potter movies. Also, most of the Riddick movies.
Well I've never actually seen Avatar, then. But at the time, I was hanging around people that thought it was stupid… so that's probably why I still haven't watched it. :P
I watched about half of until my dad switched to something else because he said it was to much like Dancing with Wolves (Which I have never seen) It was an alright movie. The world of Pandora was super neat and everything and I loved the score (James Horner), but it felt too rushed, there was quite a bit of cussing, and it fell under the white savior trope. It's definitely something to watch for the world they created within the movie.
