Does anyone just want to talk (or rant) about a book they are reading?

Use this space to talk about all the great books you have read, you can even rant about love triangles! Just get the anxiety of reading a tense or action packed book off your shoulders. I also will be looking out for new books to read.

@Heterological

There's this one author, Stuart Gibbs, and his first books of their respective series are good, as mystery books mixed with a little action, but after about the first four, he introduces new characters suddenly, out of nowhere. For example, in one book, the main character has only one friend, and in the next, he suddenly has another friend, with no warning. It's annoying.

Sounds interesting!

The Count of Monte Cristo!
A great story that has revenge, romance, suspense, and yes, even some action.

  • Since it's in the public domain I've been thinking about reading it and making YouTube videos where I do so. After reading the chapter I plan on then discussing the events, characters, etc of it.

Of Mice and Men

Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry

The Giver Quartet

I’m reading Frankenstein for the millionth time and it is soooo gay I can’t even-

Creechur is baby and did not deserve anything that happened to him.

Victor is a bitch, but I still love him so it’s okay even though he caused all the problems in the book by play god a bit too much.

Elizabeth is Victor’s SISTER, and I refuse to believe they got married. Don’t ask about that it’s complicated.

Henry is gay pining 💯 over Victor but Vic’s a jerk so he doesn’t notice it.

Alphonse Frankenstein can kiss my ass for what he did.

Story-wise, it starts off slow but actually gets like, very good so I put up with it.

Also Justine was like, high key a lesbian.

Same thing with The Count of Monte Cristo.
