Hello! I was just wondering if anyone would like to share their resources with other writers?
Like:

• Where/how do you name your characters, languages, locations, species, flora?
• What are your favorite name/map generating websites/programs?
• Where do you get your writing references (from any topic, whether it's to learn more about first aid, murder, the difference between two words that are highly interchanged but shouldn't be, etc.)

I personally use fantasynamegenerator, Dragon's Mark, and TheForge for my character naming. TheForge can also help name places and species.

Reference for Writers on Tumblr also gives out some good advice on a wide array of things.

I'll update with some more of my own references in the future if anyone's interested :D

I use fantasynamegenerator as well for almost all of my names, when i cant think of one myself. As for map making, i highly suggest the website Inkarnate. its completely free, easy to use, and most importantly, pretty.
