Milaka is the main character here!
She grew up in Mt. Howend. A very festive place where the day and night go by and it's all festivities. There's not a time of day or night where there's no one out side. Because everyone is so crowed together, it's become tradition that everyone is clean is healthy. So much so to the point there is 20 or less cases of the cold each year. Because they eat lots of hard to chew foods, they had developed teeth to help them chew raw meat and bones and they won't get sick.
All of that aside.
They have 1 main festival between spring and summer called: Flores en llamas
It means Flowers on fire. When this takes place, usually in may. All members must attend but it's fun so they don't mind. You'd arrive 5 minutes before the song starts and by that time all stations are set up. At each station theirs food before and during the dances. When starting station 1, 3-6 people will go into the field and do a certain dance and then add their own in the end. Lasts about 10 minutes but it's so nice. Afterwards everyone runs in a group to the next, kids usually get there first but probably for the food. The 4-8 people enter the next feild do half of the traditional dance and then add their own at the end. This lasts about 7 minutes. Then…
You guessed it!
They all run in a group to the next station, this time 10-15 people get in the field and do their very own dance but it must match the songs beats. After the dances it's a festival of games and more food and at around 3 in the morning Fireworks go off and theirs a lot of noise. Then it will go quiet and you will see everyone very excited. Everyone gets in position and there is a photographer (as been the same family of photographers for generations :D) As the last fire work goes off it spells out 'FLORES EN LLAMAS' and everyone screams it. After wards the picture is hung up on the generations wall to see how the town has grown each year. It's a very wonderful celebration taht everyone enjoys and Ima enjoy animating it :D
