Dani reaches out and gently puts a hand over Josh's clawed one. "Sweetheart, what's wrong?"

His red and black eyes dart up towards Dani's, locking for a moment, but he quickly glances back down.
"Didn't want y'all to see me like this.."

Dani takes Josh's face in her cupped hands and gently makes him look up at her "Honey, we're not gonna judge. And I love you, regardless of your appearance."

Josh lets out a low growl, his pupils narrowing predatorily.

"I'm not afraid of that!"
His tone softens and he pulls back.
"I'm.. afraid for your safety."

Dani grabs Josh's shirt and pulls him back What do you mean? Her eyes soften How would you hurt me…?

The male's shaking at this point. She's too close to him.

Dani looks steadily at Josh, waiting, her emotions only increasing in intensity as she stays patiently still, waiting for fangs to sink into her skin

He glanced away nervously.
