Today is Halloween, the day of the year when the borders that separate world is the weakest. I'll be spending most of the rest of my week in Earth-World to prevent any spirits from exposing themselves to human eyes. If they saw something like that, they'd probably go into shock. Humans and their weak minds… I know I haven't written in a while, but I've just been very busy after Zaleria's coronation. She's doing surprisingly good with handling all of Elvenheim and I expect even greater things from her. The country is in good hands.

It is today that I begin writing in this book. This story, my reflection of every day. Taya gave it to me. She told me it could ‘help’ me. Whatever that means, I’m not sure what I need help with.. Back to Taya, I only met her recently. Perhaps only a few weeks ago, but she is a nice woman.
She smiles a lot, very giving, but never really taking. She is very talented, too. If you read this Taya, everything I say of you is true.
Today was normal. For whatever reason the Generals have not responded to my letter. Their loss, I know. I suppose they forgot maybe. I guess I will have to keep sending letters.
We received warning of recent spies on our border, attempting to sneak under the radar. They’re foolish, thinking we will not know of their arrival and departure. Tomorrow I will be apart of the operation that ambushes them and captures them. Knowing my track record, everything will go well.
It is nearing the end of what I have left in mind, so I will depart from this sheet of paper and ink with this last few words.

I started this diary back in seventh grade and I've yet to write anything even remotely interesting, so I guess I'll start to write in it more often.
Nothing out of the ordinary has happened during hero work recently. Just the usual thugs, muggers, attempted bank robbers, etc. I will say though, I've felt my powers gradually getting stronger. I don't know if that means my physical body is getting stronger or if the power will just grow on it's own. Nevertheless, it's still really cool. I've even talked to Jalen about potential suit improvements. You see, I think I've come up with an idea for a new fabric. If we could somehow mix the properties of spandex, cotton, and cuben fiber then I'm thinking that'd be an upgrade to the simple kevlar/cotton thing we have going on, but it's all just hypothetical and it probably wouldn't work. And even if we were to somehow mix them it'd probably be really loud.
Cameron got in contact with me recently, said he'd be coming home soon. He's told me that his enlightenment is coming along well. And he's even said that he's learned to Astral Project… whatever that means. Alice also reached out to me yesterday, crazy right? She's gonna be staying in Earth-World for a little while. Said it had something to do with spirits crossing the border.

Today was the day we went on our mission. Very early in the morning, around 5 am we departed, leaving in vehicle for a while but about halfway we got out and went on foot. I will say there was a gunfight, but only one of my men was injured. Starting a gunfight for the other side was not a good choice for them; I am pretty sure I saw a lot of people over there get shot down despite my side having less people.
We captured about 2 valuable targets. The rest were..less than important. They could easily be executed later on or be used for cannon fodder in war.
Since we'll be walking back, it'll take me all of today and some of tomorrow to arrive back. We're currently stopping, so I decided to update this..book. We'll also try and get some information from one of the people captured..I believe her name is Brisa, if I'm correct on what I heard.

Dear Samuel

I'll be writing you this letter during my trip down the mountain. Hiraku and I ran out of water again and he's making me climb down the snowy mountain BAREFOOT!? He says it has something to do with me being able to control a Muladhara,,, whatever that is. Anywayy my feet are freezing and I'm gonna keep walking down. I'll finish writing when I'm at the base.

Heyy Sam, It's me again. Who else would it be?
My training has actually been going surprisingly well lately. Still haven't learned any new "Kata" with my sword, but I think we're getting there. Although, we have been practicing a few different martial art forms, such as Aikido, Jujustu, Muay Thai, and Taekwondo. Master Hiraku think the more the merrier, but quite frankly it all seems very overwhelming. I'm trying my best and that's all that really matters to me.
Anyway, it's getting late and I have a nice 2 hour hike ahead of me. Hopefully this'll get to you within the next few weeks. I'll write you some other time
