"Hey… princess…" He frowned, and took her hand. "What hurts?"
She didn't say anything just cried looking at thier hands
He lifted his head, and pressed a kiss to her lips while the mysterious Joanie fixed up Caroline.
All she did was get tears on his cheeks
He kissed her a few more times, and pulled away as Joanie finished. "There you go, pretty girl. All fixed." She said in her good natured tone.
She nodded gratefully
"Thank you Joan. A lot." He smiled, and she smiled back before getting up and leaving. Brad turned back to her, and looked into her eyes.
Caroline looked down to avoid his gaze
"What's wrong princess?" He asked softly, tilting her chin up.
" Do you even love me?" She asked in a whisper
"Very much!" He said surprised, running his thumb over her chin. "Why would you ask?"
" you made it sound like you wanted to break up" she said
"I don't want to." He said firmly, kissing her lips. "I was just saying you deserve better, and I hoped I could be the better." He whispered.
She nodded " It was Thomas he gave Felix my location" she said
"Why the heck would that little weasel do that?" Brad asked, looking to her lips.
" I don't know " she said
"Well, it doesn't matter. I'll get your stuff and we can get you somewhere safe." He said softly. But a thought came to his mind. "Do your parents hurt Lily?"
" No just me everyone hurts me" she said mumbling the last part
"Do I hurt you?" He asked softly, petting her cheek.
" sometimes" she said
"Then if I do," He told her, leaning forward. "Tell me to stop. I mean it."
She nodded slowly
"You have to promise me." He said softly, kissing her cheek.
" I promise" she said
"I love you darling." He whispered, pressing their lips together.
Caroline kissed him cupping his Cheek
"You're the most beautiful girl." He mumbled against her lips, kissing a little rougher than usual.
Caroline ran her hand under his shirt slightly
A shudder coursed through him. "That feels good… your skin on mine." He mumbled.
