" why don't you both come over for dinner?" She asked
"B-but Caroline!" Collins squeaked, getting incredibly nervous. "I'm not going to be able to ask her, I'm not the kind of guy that can just do that!"
" just come over not for her but for celebrating Brad and I getting our own apartment" she said
"I… I dunno Caroline. I'd really love to…" Collins mumbled, verbally nervous at the idea of having dinner with Lily.
" it'll be fine alright" she said
Sighing softly, he nodded. "Fine, though I don't want to intrude on you guys. It's your first night together."

Gulping weakly, he bit into his lips. "Are you going to make me invite Lily personally?"
" no it I'll do it" she said
Letting out a sigh of relief, he smiled softly. “Thank you Caroline; though I did still want to talk to you.”

“Do… do you think she likes me?” Collins asked her softly, running a hand through his hair nervously.
" Collins she's in love with you" she said
“Wait- What? Pleas don’t be joking with me, I don’t want to be heartbroken again.” Collins said weakly, his heart pounding in his chest.
" Collins I'm serious" she said
“Sh-she really likes me?” Collins asked, barely able to process the words coming from her.
" yes" she said " look you don't have to come over tonight gives me and Brad time to be alone but tomorrow take Lily to a movie " she said
“Do you want me to come tonight? Or were you only trying to get me to see Lily?” Collins asked softly, adjusting his phone so he could write something down.
" mainly Lily" she said
“I can still come over, if you want to hang out tonight. But I don’t want to take you and Brad away from each other.” Collins offered, an idea stopping him. “Wait, is Lily even out of the hospital yet?”
" yeah she got out last week why don't you give her a visit lillies are her favorite flower " she said and hung up
With the dial tone, Collins went to argue but sighed. "I'll do that Caro…" Collins mumbled, tucking his phone away in his pocket.
Caroline was on the couch watching TV she had hooked everything up a week before
Coming in through the door, Brad saw Caroline and smiled. "Hey babe, I'm back." Brad hummed, pushing the door closed with his foot.
She smiled at the sight of her boyfriend
"How was your 15 minutes alone? The store was right across the street, I had no idea it was so close." He laughed, setting the bags on the counter.

"Horrible? Why's that?" He asked with a light laugh, putting the groceries away.
