She turned around straddling him and smiled

Smiling back, he pulled her closer to himself. "And I'll be your husband… if we had kids, what would you want first?" Brad asked her softly, resting his chin on her shoulder once again.
"A boy a handsome baby boy just like his father" she said
"Mmm… I'm not that handsome. But I won't object to a baby boy." Brad hummed, leaning in to her. "What would you want to name him? Preferably not any celebrity or friend of ours."
"Well maybe Tyler" she said
"Tyler is nice… do you just like the name?" Brad asked her softly, humming lightly as he held on to her tightly.
She nodded"one of my favorites'
"I really do like it… maybe a Madison if we had a girl." Brad whispered, pulling back a little bit.
She shook her head "too close to Madeline"
"Oh… right. What about Valerie? Or Melody?" Brad hummed, raising a brow with his options. "Any name I'm forgetting about?"
"What about Brianna?" She asked
"Dunno… it's a possibility." Brad shrugged, kissing her forehead. "Maybe I'll let you pick the first names, and I'll take care of the middle names."
"Maybe" she said kissing his cheek
"We've got a long way before then… We're still teenagers." Brad hummed, leaning in to the kiss. "So we can decide when the time comes."
She smiled wrapping her arms around his neck
Studying her face, he smiled softly before resting his head on her should. "You're really pretty… I don't know why I got so lucky."
She smiled kissing his head
Slowly, Brad hummed a soft song under his breath and gently rocked back and forth. He was quite content just sitting their with her in his arms. It was nice, it was warm, and they were happy together.
She let out a sigh of content
Smiling gently, Lily came up to the two with a relaxed demeanor. "Hey you two, Kaylee wanted me to tell you she had snacks and stuff set up. Oh, Collins also wanted to ask about a double date."
" No No No double be date" she whined
Taken by a bit of surprise, Lily's smile fell just a bit and she nodded. "Yeah, sure. Just…. just thought I'd mention it." She shrugged before walking down the porch down the beach. When she was gone, Brad pulled back and gave her an odd look. "What was that about?"
"I don't do double dates I can't" she said
"Why not? I don't understand." Brad insisted, cupping her cheek and gently petting her. "It's just me, you, Collins, and Lily."
She pulled his hand away " I don't want to talk about it" she said
"I just- don't understand…" Brad whispered, giving up on trying to pet her. "Are you mad at me, for not knowing?" He asked softly, not wanting to poke at the thing bothering her.
"No I just don't want to talk about it" she said
Nodding, he fell silent and stared down at his hands. Her having pushed him away, stung a little bit. Was he hurting her? Was he making her uncomfortable?
"It's just a painful memory" she said
"You don't have to explain yourself." Brad mumbled, still not looking up. He was running his thumb over the palm of his other hand slowly, keeping quiet.
