" maybe…maybe we aren't supposed to be together" she said
“But if we are?” He asked softly, not wanting to loose her. “How many boyfriends have you had?” He asked.
" you and arrow" she said
"That's it? I'm surprised." He mumbled, assuming she had had more. "Nevermind then. I guess we're about to go through our rollercoster again…"
She sighed " I met your brother " she had gone to Brad's house but he wasn't there after a fight so his brother fixed her up and they spent the afternoon watching movies and they exchanged numbers and now they talk constantly
“Wait- you met my brother? How?” He questioned, easing his brow upwards.
" I was at your hous house" she said
“Caroline… why did you go to my house?” He asked softly, feeling terrible for missing her.
" I had a fight and I went to your house and your brother was there' she said
"You could have called me." He mumbled, petting her still.
" it was fine your brother fixed me up' she said
"Caroline, I want you to promise me something." He stated, pulling her away, just enough so he could look at her.
" what is it?' she asked
"Promise me you'll call or text me when you get hurt. I'll drop what I'm doing, and come help." He said firmly, his dark eyes starring into hers.
She got off his lap " No I won't be that girlfriend Brad I'm not gonna be the girl that pulls you away from everything just because I can't handle myself" she said
"I know you can handle yourself, but I want to know what's going on. Come on babe, please." He begged, standing up and walking over to her and taking her arm.
" I can't do this go around pretending to not be in love with you while girls hang off of you and I can't do anything every girl wants you Brad…and I can't compete" she said whispering the last part
"Caroline, I've almost fixed everything, just give me two days, tops. I promise things will get better after that. I swear on it." He told her, lacing their fingers.
" two days then after that im done" sh said
"I promise, if I break it, break up with me." He whispered, kissing the top of her head. "And then beat me to the ground until I get my common sense back."
She sighed closing her eyes
"I love you, and always will." He told her, kissing her.
She nodded an rested her head on his shoulder
"I promise you," He whispered. "I'll get it done in time."
" I should go" she said
"I don't want you to, but I won't stop you." He whispered, loosening his hold on her.
" you have work to do" she said
"I know, but you could stay." He hummed, resting his lips on the side of her head.
She sighed " just got a bit" she said
