I'm currently writing a novel: And I need serious help.
I'm down to at least the 14-15th chapter. I'm currently writing chapter 14, which includes lots of info. Chapter 15 is Halloween, while Chapter 16 is a small skit and Chapter is the problem.
I asked multiple friends on plans and ideas for 16 and 17, but I was only given VERY vague answers. I decided on some of the things they said to have some sled scene, but i don't know what to do next!!! possibly a problem coming up, and then i might end the book near there.
Here are some basic details:
She goes to a magic school in january.
She lives in a mansion with a patron.
She has a talent/power that is trying to be kept a secret.
She has an evil who has taken her sword, and plans to teach her how to be evil like him, (they havw the same power/talent)

Maybe a scene that gets her closer to the evil and later on a scene that creates a plot twist and turns the evil into the antagonist in her life?
