Well, seeing that they became disappointed in her, at first they had hopes and wished the best for her and treated her kindly, but MC was still acting up bc she was upset about being adopted and got made fun of for it or something. Then they began to get a little more firm with her and began punishing her more and then she and her parents got into an argument where she yells about how they aren't her real parents and she was just adopted. And then one of the parents (whichever one is more hotheaded) yells that they could put her right back up for adoption. They soon regret it and treat her kindly once more and send her to a boarding school bc they truly think it's for her.
