Ideas For Clan Laws

I have this group of rebels in my book that my Mc is going to join (Because its the only way he's going to survive), I already made the leader and the map of the camp and so on but I need a law, a code, some rules.

For a general idea of what's happening: The book is in the shapeshifter genre. The 'muntin's' are agents the public or any human (Because they are being hunted), they don't want to fight the humans, just free their people and get out of the city area.

Any ideas for a code they must follow??

If you still need help with this I would say maybe one of the laws is you can maim but not kill. Goes with them not wanting to fight, but makes it belivable to want to defend themselves.
Maybe a even a small rule could be that everyone that joins needs a skill they can use. Could use that rule to help your MC become accepted into the group since he has a skill they need.
Another option would be that all debates are settled with the leader’s final say or through winning a fight against each other. Useful if the group is a mix match of emotions and multiple backrounds. Could be a way to show there is tention within but have the outbursts be only small since no one wants to fight.
