Is teenage(ish) pregnancy an appropriate topic in fantasy/post apocalypse?

Before everyone kills me, she's 18. I would never make anyone under the age of seventeen in my stories pregnant unless it's extremely critical to the plot.
I'm juggling this idea, and I think it would make for some pretty good plot points if done correctly, however, the setting is a mix of fantasy and post-apocalyptic. Would this fit? Would you be alright reading a fantasy and post-apocalyptic book to find out one of the mc's are pregnant?

Absolutely! Raising a child in that kind of world is fascinating topic! Watching how it affects your character's mind, emotions and the like, all of it sounds so fresh and cool!

I mean people in the 16th century were having kids at 14, 15, and 16, so I don't think it's weird to have an 18 year old character who is pregnant

Go for it. I say you are fine. I mean some realistic fiction books that I have read had teenage moms, at like 16. An 18 year old is considered an adult, and more so during the time you are trying to write in.

People nowadays are getting pregnant at ages 12 and 13. I think that's absolutely fine and also interesting, and it also brings some awareness to the subject which I like. :) go for it, but make sure it's written correctly so as to tell it how it really is. a little late to the party but for a lot of situations like these, as long as you have good reasons for doing it (not just because) and you’re doing it right, it’s probablt fine! advice for the future :)
