So this is a paragraph, just because it makes more sense instead of a single sentence

Ok. So.
The whole point of this thread was for sharing your last line with no context. Obviously, I've been pretty lenient about what constitutes as a line because none of you wanted to do that. I've said 3-5 lines max, because any more than that kind of defeats the purpose of the thread.
I can't allow one person to post more than that because then everyone is going to want to do it, and again that's not the point of this thread.
3-5 lines is already pretty generous, especially since the whole point of this thread was to only share one.
Those are the rule to this thread. You don't get to break them because you don't like them. They're not up for debate. I'm not going to keep saying this.

Jake heard his mom's voice in his head: Don’t forget about breakfast!

He took a protein bar.

"See you later, Flit." Teo made a quick wave with their hand and strutted away, their steps crunching in the snow.

As the blood spred, the red became more prominent and only then did I realize how much there truly was.

His dad makes an exaggerated oof but moves one arm from his mom and puts it around Casper affectionately pulling him tight against them. Casper sighs contently leaning into the embrace when his mother turns to card her fingers loving through his hair.

It was the first time he had ever been inside his boss’s suite, and he wasn’t quite sure what he was expecting. It was cluttered for lack of a better word, filled with knick knacks and trinkets as well as a concerning amount of shot glasses and empty liquor bottles.

“If Silan ever does come back it’ll be to drive a sword through his father’s chest,” Milo said firmly. “I’m certain of at least that much.”
