Oh! And don't mind the werewolf, he's generally quite friendly!
And remember not to walk into faery circles, or the fae own you.

@bubblegum

Never go into one alone

Maybe that's what's in the cornfields…..

@bubblegum

Yeah, never go into fae circles. Everything else is really friendly though - Hey, I’m a witch!

Be careful when walking in the woods at night. You will see things you don't want to, and not see things you should know about.

@bubblegum

there are regularly loud banging noises in suburban neighborhoods. They could be anything from guns, fireworks, or…something else.

Oh, indeed. Every small town has that one crazed man with a cannon.

@bubblegum

no town is complete without it. :). Also, those random lights that turn on? The weird scratching noises you hear? I mean, you can look out the window, but you won't see anything. don't go outside though

I would suggest locking your windows, especially if you live in an area where Satan's ducks are common. They can be quite…aggressive.

@bubblegum

Same with cicadas. Don't want one of those nasty buggers in your room, now do you?

Cicadas scream a lot. I suggest not wondering why.

@bubblegum

don't peer down holes in tree trunks or under rocks, please. unless you want something following you home.

@hollow-boned

I live in a pretty small townish- rural area. Really deserty/farm-y and very dry and hot. There's a lot of side roads, alleys, strange dark nooks. To me, it's like perfect for creepy things to go down. One of my fav english teachers must agree- he wrote a creepy short story about our town and read it to the school. So like on pretty much every corner in the main part of town, there's like these rusty yellow metal boxes. They're like big enough for a small kid to crouch down in with the lid closed, but the lids have locks, so no one has every opened one. They aren't electrical boxes, or anything… they're just there. What's creepy is that people who've lived here for years haven't noticed them until someone pointed them out. Heck, I've lived here quite some time and I didn't notice them until my English teacher wrote the short story about them. I keep noticing more and more. It's like they just appear. Idk. I guess that's it, there is no set urban legend that "everybody knows". Just weird to me. Strange yellow boxes just lingering…

Indeed! They leave their empty skin shells on trees. Along with their souls.

@bubblegum

true. you keep looking back and the same insect wing is still on the sidewalk every time…

i know thats what makes it incredible

@bubblegum

Always check the leaves of mulberry trees, and their placement - if it's inside some type of circle, or the leaves are somewhat circular, please stay away. those belong to faeries.
