He nodded "yeah, an amazing pain." He shook his head and smiled

"How dare you?" Sarah mock gasped, placing a hand over her heart.
"I'm the king of the Underworld, I dare to go where no one wants." He winked and smiled charmingly
“You’re so mean,” she complained, smiling at him with the smile she reserved for no one else.
"I know," he smiled back, loving it when she smiled at him like that
“And humble too.”
"what can I say? I'm a gentle man to a tee." He laughed softly a d bowed "so where are we heading to?"
“Just around,” she said with a shrug. “I wasn’t planning on anywhere.”
He nodded "great." He took her hand in his and tugged her with him to the streets
Sarah looked down at the linked hands and smiled to herself. He rarely ever showed affection in public. This was new.
"I swear, if they closed this…" Corbin grumbled "ha! Good." He pulled open the door and tugged Sarah in "question, how good is your balance?"
"Pretty good," she said hesitantly. "I mean, I'm not that graceful…"
"thats fine, it'll work for this." He pulled her inside "two please." he said, to the counter man up front
She blinked in confusion. Where was he bringing her?
The man nodded and handed Corbin two pairs of roller skates. "Here ya go."
“Oh no,” she said, backing away, a laugh in her voice.
"oh yes," he took her hand before she could esape and pulled her to him "come on, it'll be fun. I swear."
She blushed. “But I’ll just fall. Again.”
"and I'll be right there to catch you, I promise. I won't let you fall." Corbin strapped on his roller blades and stood
Sarah still looked nervous, but she strapped hers on and tried to stand up. She almost fell.
He laughed and caught her around the waist "oh this is going to be interesting…" He held out his hands to steady her
She hit him, gently, on the shoulder. “Meany. You should know that I’m about as graceful as an elephant when I’m on wheels.”
He laughed "I know, but that's what practice is for. Plus, you won't fall so hard." He took her hand in his again and guided her slowly to the skating rink
“I don’t think you know what I’m talking about,” she said, practically clinging to him as she rolled, nearly falling over several times. “I will never be good at this.”
He glanced down at her "not with that attitude you won't." He laughed softly and stood behind her "now all you have to do is not fall fowards where I'm not at."
Right after he said that, she fell forward.
Corbin flinched and crouched down beside her "that's what not to do, you ok?"
“You jinxed it,” she accused, eyes glittering with amusement. “And I’m fine.” She stood, holding the wall.
He laughed and stood "ready to try again?" He asked, offering her his hand
“No,” she grumbled, but accepted his hand all the same. This time, she rolled a few feet before falling over.
