Radi’s eyes move to her for a second or two before looking away. “I’ll take whatever you have.” He decides.
Celia nods. “I’ll be back. Shortly.”
It was with that that Celia departed. She didn’t shift or anything. She’s fast enough on her own that shifting was not needed.
The man, Kreso is gone. That’s good. Or bad. She doesn’t care.
She’s at the market a lot faster than before, and she looks for something that suits her fancy. Meat, as usual. She thinks she’ll try some fish. She makes her purchase - or rather, steal - then begins to head back.
Radi sits in silence. He’s unsure of what to think of this Celia. In a way, something he gets from her says…
Not good. Stay away.
But on the other hand, Celia strikes him as a being who has some sort of an attachment to him. An attachment that seems almost one sided..but what sort of attachment? And maybe not so one sided as he’d like to believe….She’s a stranger, helping him, and for what? Everyone had a reason.
Celia doesn’t think much of Radi.
I don’t. I don’t. I don’t I don’t idontidonti-
The blood, his blood makes her feel almost lightheaded but in a good way and she wants more. She’s never felt that feeling before. Tasting someone’s blood. Usually, just an earthy taste with iron undertones, something she dismissed. But with a taste as small as a droplet, she wondered - she wondered how good a mouthful would be.
But no. She can’t do that. That’s not her. That’s not Celia, that’s Shriseih. Shriseih, the name given by the simulation. The AI. Technically, Shriseih is a false name. But it is a traditional one based off of actual Bloodjaw names..
She’s coming up upon the house again, and she brushes her thoughts aside as she enters.
Radi looks up. So she was right. Fast.
He stands up, sniffing, and he’s able to identify the food type she’d picked up. He walks over to her in silence.
“I don’t know. Not get stabbed again.” There’s no humour in his tone.
He takes his food, and careful not to reveal the entirety of his face to her, eats it.
Radi finishes what he can, deciding to store it away in the fridge for later. He doesn’t notice Celia’s teeth right away, he just so happens to glance in her direction. She’s got sharp..teeth. Mods? Why would you mod your teeth, unless you were apart of a gang or cult or whatever?
He says nothing.
Radi stands up and begins to look out the window by the door. His eyes momentarily brush past his arm, the wounded one. He studies the bandages, the way they’re wrapped. Everything.
It doesn’t look like anything of a doctor’s work; professional or black market. And yet, it seems that the work was done by someone who knows their stuff.
“Nice work.” He comments.
For a moment, Radi feels tired, and he yawns shortly after. It doesn’t look like this is a day for him. Just another one of those days where you can’t think of much.
“Thanks,” she says, drying her hands.
Even though she’s eaten, she can’t help but crave blood. But this blood she wants. It’s not the typical type.
It’s more like the one that makes her want to show her true face - but not go completely feral. This is something she’s never felt before.
“Tired?” Celia’s voice gives nothing away of what she’s thinking.
Looking over to her, his voice is almost casual as he answers back. “Yeah, how could you tell?” It’s interesting to believe that this was a stranger to him just yesterday. But she seems genuine in her behaviour..he’ll be a bit careful though.
“I’m gonna have a rest.”
“Okay.” He wasn’t going to sleep or anything, just a quick rest and that was that. Thus he saw no need to get under the covers, just lay on top of his bed. He didn’t shut the door completely, either.
He closed his eyes, and it did not take long for him to sleep.
Radi dreams of her. Polina. But the setting is unusual, and Radi can tell he’s standing in a cave of some sort, the floor filled with water so still he would’ve thought it was glass. Polina, turned away from him, Radi could only reach forwards. “Polina?”
Polina didn’t answer.
The water swirls around her as a shadow emerged from it, and Polina seemed to fade away. Radi faltered, stopping where he stood.
(I desire to continue this.)
Radi mumbles a curse under his breath as he watches Polina fade away. “Come back…” Unknowingly, a figure appears behind him. Radi only sees it out of the corner of his eye and when he sees it, he realizes that it’s not human. His breath hitches. Both in the dream and in real life.
((Been a while since I’ve seen you around! How are things? P.S. would you want to continue any of our other RPs by any chance?))
Celia kneels down but sits straight, lifting her head into the air. It was clear just by the glazed look in her eyes, she wasn’t herself. The blood of the Bloodjaws was quite strong, and all this did was prove its strength.
(Sure thing. Which one?)
(Sounds good!)
Radi slowly came out of his odd dream and even his sleep. He wasn’t expecting to come to a figure sitting close to him, though. “What the fuck..?”
