a house, not a home, relatives, not family (urban fantasy, open to like,,, four or five people?)

Enfield House. An innocuous little place for troubled children to stay, with vines growing up the walls and an overgrown garden, the place looked positively overcome with plants.

But once your characters come to stay, they find that not all is as it seems and that the children might be in more danger than they could possibly have ever thought of, with the mysterious Mr. Enfield and his locked basement he always seems to be sneaking off in at night, a basement where strange sounds and screams come from every time you listen too closely.

So basically this will have some horror elements but your characters will largely be okay, as long as they stay out of trouble. Or will they?

So I’ll be playing Mr. Enfield, of course, and maybe another character? I’m not sure yet. Well. Another character will pop up for plot reasons but I might also play a child for this just because. Also, this place is a pretty old mansion, it’s been renovated but the garden has largely been ignored, and there are maids and other staff around to interact with whenever your characters need help or information. But the staff… they’re strange, they don’t seem right. But there isn’t anything obviously wrong with them, it must be the old house giving you the creeps, right?

So is there some fantasy in this, then?

Personality: He’s very, very protective and loyal, and deeply cares about the people in his life. He wants to make sure everyone is safe and happy and content, and is basically the team dad when it comes down to it.
Clothing: Ripped jeans and a hoodie with any given graphic tee underneath, usually with puns written on them.
Appearance: Blaze red hair like flames and freckles of a similar color, blue eyes like deep pools, and pale skin. He’s tall, especially for someone his age, with thick fingers and well-built muscles with a healthy layer of chub over them due to a low metabolism he’s incredibly insecure about.

Other: Not much, he reads a lot of comic books and writes fanfiction about the once’s he reads.
