"It may not be, but we are the ones helping you." Jaxton spread his cards. "Pick three."

Eris raised an eyebrow before taking 3 cards.

Jaxton looked at the cards, humming. "Interesting." He put the deck back into his pocket.

Eris crossed her arms. "Are you not going to tell me?"

"Nope. It's not any of your business." He tutted

Eris rolled her eyes. "Hilarious. Whatever, I don't need to know."

"But it's going to eat at you." Jxxton said knowningly, hand goin back to tapping.

Quinn chuckled softly, watching, but said nothing. He wasn't about to interfere with Jaxton's mumbo jumbo.

Eris scoffed. "No, it's not. I'm going to forget all of this in an hour."

"Not if I remind you." Jaxton said. "Plus, it usually wears at your subconscious and you'll know that there's something wrong. And no, it's not magic it's phycology."

(Actually, Quin, it's mumbo gumbo. Hehehhee, puns.)

"You are every bit as horrible as I imagined," Eris informed him, scowling.

"Why thank you. You're very kind." Jaxton said.

"I know," she replied with a sigh.

Quinn snorted.

Again, Kiera watches with growing annoyance. She often dropped out of conversations, only to see Jaxton and Quinn argue. This was one of those times.
