Serenity leaves the bathroom, having put on a bright pink tank top and short shorts. She notices that Ali's still up and tosses her keys to her.
"There's your keys. They were at the beach." she says, seeing the space on the sofa and hesitating a moment. She sighs, the goes over and sits down next to Ali, watching her intently.
Ali catches them. “Thanks.” She says plainly, smiling at her pink outfit. She sighs, turning down the volume on the TV. “Listen, I…” she pauses, trying to think of what to say
Serenity started saying the same thing as Ali, then paused and laughed. Her laughter dies down after a minute.
"Sorry, I just-" she sighs, still chuckling a little. "I get that you were surprised. I would be, too."
Ali laughs nervously, looking back at the TV and taking a deep breath. While Serenity talks, she closes her eyes, mustering I’m the courage to do something absolutely insane. She leans forward, suddenly, finding Serenity’s lips on here
Serenity stops speaking, surprised, then smiles and kisses Ali back, scooting closer to Ali and purring slightly. Damn, she tastes good.
Ali’s heart pounds and her mind races, her emotions taking full control. He grabs Serenity’s face and kisses again, and again, sliding ever closer. She just needed to taste that vanilla lip gloss a few more times…
Serenity, surprised by Ali's physical reaction, chuckles and slides right up to her, putting one hand around the back of her head and the other on the small of her back, pressing herself and Ali together.
(I love how whenever we’re doing an rp we’re just immediately just like, hmm, now kiss :D)
(Yup! It's honestly funny but amazing that we can kinda just, immediately make out characters start vibing together.)
Ali slides her hands through Serenity’s hair moving her legs up to the couch as Serenity pulls her closer, lips interlocking as she still remains entranced, her thoughts well behind her.
Eventually, Serenity has to break away to breath.
"God damn, you're an amazing kisser." she murmurs, chuckling breathlessly.
Ali slides back, wide eyed as she finnaly comes to her senses. “Holy….” She starts, staring at the fabric on the couch.
Serenity chuckles.
"Yeah. So…" she grins, looking Ali directly in the eyes. "Does this mean… we're together? Friends with 'benefits'? Like, what's the deal here?"
Ali blushes. “I-I-I dunno. I… I didn’t think we’d get this far in a day.” She smiles faintly, tucking more curls behind her ear
"Me either, yet here we are." Serenity replies, smirking. "Also, you blush a lot."
Ali half smiles, blushing more. “Yeah… my mamá always made sure to let me know that.” She says, laughing
"Well, it's true. It's also very easy to do." she laughs, the gives Ali one last kiss before getting up and yawning. "Anyways, it's late. We should get to bed soon."
Ali smiles, looking down at the couch. “Yeah. I’ve got early class tomorrow, so..” she looks back up at Serenity
"Ah, fuck it." Serenity grins, then picks up Ali and brings her over to her bed, shutting off the lights in the room and proceeding to cuddle with Ali. Soon, she falls asleep.
Ali smiles, heart still pounding as she wraps her arms around Serenity’s waist, pulling her legs around hers. It isn’t not before she drifts off to sleep as well.
Serenity wakes up, deliciously warm. She realizes there's someone's hair in her face and sneezes because she was breathing it in. She also realizes that there's someone in bed with her, and it takes a moment to remember who. When she does, she smiles, happy. She untangles herself from Ali and pads over to the living room, popping her headphones in and starting her yoga routine.
Ali yawns awake, stretching as she feels Serenity leave her. She rolls out of bed, extremely groggy, and heads to the kitchen to make some tea. “What are you going?” She says quietly, watching Serenity.
Serenity sees Ali and pops out a headphone.
"I'm doing yoga, duh." she smiles, finishing her yoga and getting up.
Ali grins, putting her infuser in the hot water. She yawns again, laying her head on the counter and closing her eyes
"Ay, no sleeping now! Wait… don't you have early classes today?" Serenity asks, concerned.
Ali’s eyes widen as she checks the time. “Shit!!” She sips her black tea while quickly getting dressed, not even bothering to change in the bathroom. She grabs her backpack and starts for the door, then peeks her head back in. “Bye!”
"Bye, hun! See ya later!" she says, grinning.
Ali smiles, then heads out the door, running to the campus
Meanwhile, Serenity slowly wakes herself up, enjoying the bit of downtime she has before her classes start.
Damn, it's quiet here without Ali…
She showers again, gets on the type of clothes she usually wears and heads out to her classes. First stop, Photography…
