Mikhail kept his eyes shut. Most just walked away now since he probably wasn't going to come out for a while.
Aaa i need someone to roleplay with
Just beyond the glass roof, rest flocks of pigeons, less intelligent yet more free than the creatures below.
Was the glass… Breakable..?
Mikhail stayed where he was with his back against the wall in a tiny corner. He wasn't that hungry so he just stayed where he was for now.
The day passed slowly. When all traces of light left the atmosphere beyond the glass, the harsh lights in the halls flickered off. In this darkness, however much it was, there was no milky way. Only the miserable, faint orange glow of city light pollution and a few faint stars. No sensation of crisp nighttime air and the taste of wonder. Just the feeling of air conditioning and captivity.
Mikhail sighed as he lay down when the sun started to set and people started leaving. The floor was cold at first but it slowly warmed up, he wrapped his wings around himself to try and stay warm but it wasn't working that well.
The only other of his kind was busy eating and resting tucked away in a warm room.
Mikhail fell asleep after a few seconds, he had lived in conditions worse than this before so this was okay.
~~~
"Wake up," Alex nudged Mikhail with his foot.
Mikhail groaned and shifted around a bit. "What do you want?" He asked, he was usually very grumpy in the mornings.
"I want you to go." Alex mumbled.
"Go where?" Mikhail asked, his head popping out from underneath his wings.
"Act sick or something so they'll take you away," he shiftdd his weight defensively.
"Already got a problem with me sitting here and doing nothing?" Mikhail shifted around so he was in a sitting position, standing up after a few seconds.
He rubbed his wing, now showing signs of discomfort. "I liked being alone,"
"Well, I liked being alone at my house but I can't go there now, can I?" He asked, crossing his arms.
Alex shifted nervously, mumbled under his breath and shuffled his black wings.
"I didn't hear you." Mikhail said sarcastically, the hint of a smile on his face.
XD)
Alexs nose twitched, "You could just.. Escape, or something.."
"And why should I?" He asked.
"…I don't like you here.." He kept growing more averting and submissive the more Mikhail asserted himself.
"Neither do I." Mikhail smiled just a bit more, leaning against the wall.
He shifted again, scratched his arm uncomfortably. Crossed his arms. "Stop talking to me like that," he tried to boss him.
"Talking to you like what? Like a normal person?" Mikhail questioned.
"Like I'm five," he muttered, kicked at the grass below.
"How? Wait-Are you saying you're actually five?" Mikhail asked with a slight laugh, the smile on his was a bit bigger.
That made his face redden. "I'm sixteen!" He puffed defensively, "Stop being an– an ass!"
"Got any proof?" He quickly glanced out the cage to see the zoo was still empty, it was probably a bit early.
"Firstly I'm fully fledged," he defended, face still bright red.
"Haha, sure you're fully fledged." He retorted.
Alex shoved him. Not very much, the kid was really.. Weak. A good weight to him, but hardly any muscle.
