"That's okay," Cyrus replied, continuing to physically soothe his partner, "And what do you mean exactly? Are you like disoriented, or dissociated, or…?"
He was fussing over Marcus a bit, but that was okay. The other deserved all his care, even if he felt he was a little over the top.
Pollux got up to get himself some water, and he filled an ice tray with water while he was at it.
"Hey, I'll get you some ice cubes to suck on instead as soon as these freeze up," he said, "They shouldn't make you as nauseous. Obviously it's better if you can eat and drink, but I totally understand why you can't. I mean, if I'd taken you to the hospital, they would've put you on IV fluids for sure, but that's obviously not an option. This is the best we've got."
"Feel free to rest on me," Cyrus murmured to Marcus, "I'll probably take a nap too if you do. I feel like shit and probably just need to sleep it off."
"You need some water, too," Pollux sighed, getting Cyrus a cup too while he was up, "Alcohol dehydrates you. I'm sure your mouth feels dry- I mean… even the slightest of hangovers will do that to you."
He offered the drink to Cyrus, who took it in his free hand.
"Yeah… thanks," Cyrus replied, "You're not wrong. I drank some water before I left my place, but more couldn't hurt."
(Is it bad half of my writing blood loss consists of the typical online research, and the other half is personal experience from being a lightweight at blood drives and amping those sensations up? Bc I've nearly passed out every time I've given blood, and almost vomited the first time when I tried to sit up lmao)
