"Thanks…" Cas cuddled close to Nick again, sighing. "I dunno what I'd do without you, Nick…"

“Then it’s a good thing that I’m here,” Nick said with a grin, getting back to his regular teasing, upbeat manner.
"Mhmm." Cas yawned a little and buried his face in the crook of Nick's neck, trying to get more comfortable.
Nick smiled sleepily, hoping that everything would be okay and that this would not be the last time he and Cas cuddled.
"I love you…" Cas murmured sleepily, shifting so he was flush up against Nick. Thankfully, no one other than Jane ever seemed to walk in on them.
Nick kissed him softly before responding. "And I love you."
"Please never leave me…" Cas whispered, tightening his grip on Nick' s shirt.
“Never,” Nick whispered, back to being more serious. “Please don’t leave me either.”
Cas shook his head tiredly. "I won't, love… I promise."
“I want it to be like this every day,” Nick mumbled, beginning to close his eyes.
"Mm… Maybe minus the whole starving thing and the whole probably going to get caught thing, but yeah."
“Well, yeah, that’s what I meant,” Nick agreed. “I was thinking more like being around you and stuff.”
Cas nodded. "I like being around you. It's better than being around my dad."
“I would hope so,” Nick responded. He was still smiling and it was clearly heard in his voice, softening the words.
Cas smiled softly as well. "In fact, I like being around you a hell of a lot more."
“I’m glad,” Nick added. “I love you so much.”
"I love you too…" He kissed Nick softly. "If I ever do something stupid again, slap some fucking sense into me. But don't actually, because that might cause some emotional distress on my part…"
Nick laughed. “I’ll just tell you that what you’re doing is stupid, then,” he responded. He traced the outline of Cas’s jaw with his finger absentmindedly.
Cas leaned his head into Nick's hand and closed his eyes, melting into the other's touch.
Nick smiled, continuing to trace Cas’s jaw and then kissing him again.
Cas returned the kiss eagerly, just letting Nick hold onto him while he relaxed further.
Nick kept kissing him, his hands in Cas’s hair.
"Mm…" Cas nibbled lightly at Nick's lip, pulling away to breathe for a few seconds.
Nick smiled at him again. “This the kind of thing I meant when I said every day should be like this,” he added.
Cas smiled softly, casting a fond look up at Nick. "I love you a lot, you know that?"
“I do,” he responded, smiling back. A warm feeling like champagne bubbles fizzled in his stomach at hearing that.
Cas smiled brighter and hugged him tightly. "Do you love me?" He asked.
“You know I do,” he responded, hugging Cas back.
"Mmm… yaaay." Cas grinned, loving the attention.
Nick laughed quietly at that and kissed Cas again.
