An RP with @TiramisuGrenouille !!!

The three followed them up the stairs with Firiko assuming it would be better if he didn't fly.

Megan finally made it to the room, and she unlocked it with her key once again. They slid inside, and she set Tobias down on a table in the middle of the room. Hopefully Dad isn't here… It's midday, so he shouldn't be here anyways….
Tobias weakly sat up. "….Wh…. What….??" He glanced around and was a bit startled when he saw that those three people followed him– into a place he wasn't sure they were allowed.

Firiko made sure to stand behind Skye and Rio as they ended up in a room filled with more gadets and gizmos, He was pretty sure wings weren't normal in this world which was why he didn't wanna scare the kid.
Skye stepped forwards, "Is the kid alright?" he asked the woman

"He's…. Hanging in there… He should be…." Megan responded, pulling down a few cords from the ceiling with elecrtic patches, sticking two on his cheeks and two on his forehead. "I need you to lay down…"
Tobias carefully sat back, and the currents channeled into his brain, letting him fall into a deep sleep– or essentially turning him off.
"It might be a little while before he's ready to go… But I'm sure he wouldn't mind company when he wakes up." First thing's first… This eye… I'm glad it didn't damage the internal wiring…

"What exactly are you doing to him?" asked Rio, I can sense that those wires are giving off electricity.

(Water conducts electricity, and he is part air element)

"I have to…. Ermm…. Replace the glass of his eye. And rewire a few things in his abdomen." It must've sounded odd to them, working on a machine that looked too close to a human being. "That car hit him pretty hard… But luckily…. It didn't get the worse of him…" She got a small concave glass piece and set it on the cart next to the table. She used some sort of tweezers to get the old one out. It was badly cracked, but it wasn't broken into shards.

Skye came over to her, watching her carefully as she pulled some glass out of the kid's eye, "Uhm… I dont know about this kid, but I'm pretty sure he isn't human now is he?" he said

"No, he's not," Megan said, taking the untouched glass between the tweezers. "He's what some claim to be the most human-like robot in the world, even though he's modeled as a 14-year-old kid." She carefully placed the glass in, making sure not to touch it with her hands. "Sometimes I'm proud of him…. Sometimes…. He's not really the sharpest knife in the drawer."

"Uh huh" said Skye who was thoroughly intrigued by what she was doing with the kid's robotic parts.

Megan lifted his shirt a little where the car hit his side. There was a reddened patch of "skin" where she was sure there was a disconnection. That's what I suspected…. She grabbed a scalpel and cut the skin open, revealing several wires and steel bones. "These just need to be reconnected, and he should be ready to go." I'm surprised this didn't do more damage than it did….

Firiko came over and watched curiously with Skye, being careful to keep his feathers out of the way. Rio slumped onto the floor where he was, yawning as he watched boredly.

Megan heard [Rio] yawn, and she was a tad bit intimidated. A small sweat broke from her forehead, and she took a deep breath. Take your time… What counts is the quality and care…. She soldered the parted wires and repared the worn ones efficiently. Just a little more…. When Megan was finished, she seamed the skin back with a special material to make it look like nothing had happen– scarless.
"I thought this would take longer than usual…." She muttered, leaning back a little.

Skye watched her finish up, "Quick question for you miss," he said, "What exactly is he?" he asked carefully,

"Depends on what kind of answer your're looking for…." Megan shifted a little, proceeding to remove the electric pads from his face carefully. "To some, he's just an ordinary kid… To me though, he's everything. My father made him as an experiment, but be made a terrible mistake, and now… It's like he doesn't want him in his life anymore…" She sighed, watching him as he woke up.
Tobias opened his eyes, seeing everything clearly before him. "Wh… Am… Am I okay now?" He glanced around, and was a little startled to see those three people there in the lab with her.

"Heya Kiddo" said Firiko cheerily,

Skye nodded, "I take it he doesn't know?" he said in a low voice, not wanting to anger the woman,

She shook his head, and tried not to take chances. "Yes, you're fine now." Megan gave him a nice smile.
Tobias looked at [Firiko] and then at her, and smiled, but it quickly faded. "You guys shouldn't be in here…. They'll catch you–"
"Don't worry…" Megan hushed him quickly. "They're fine where they are. They wanted to see if you'd be okay. Speaking of which, I don't think I caught your names."

"I'm Skye, Thats my nephew Firiko, and a friend of ours, Rio," he gestured to each and then taking a second glance at Rio he gave a quick motion to Firiko in Rio's direction. "What about you?" he asked not paying attention to Rio who was woken by Firiko and then thrown upside down against the wall by Firiko after attempting to attack Firiko.

(This is typical drama btw)

(Oof. A bit confusing to follow… But okay….)

Megan smiled a bit awkwardly. "I'm Megan, and this here is Tobias, my–" She was a little hesitant, but said, "–Younger brother." Don't make it sound awkward.
Tobias grinned and gave a little wave. _They seem friendly.
Megan glanced at the wall clock and nearly jumped out of her socks. "My my…. That took too much time out of our day…." Unfortunately, it's too late to return Tobias back to school… By the time I get there, school would be out already…. But I have an idea… "Well, since it's too late to get Tobias back to school, and I need to get some work done… Why don't you guys take him to the park or something?" She gave them a smile. "I suppose I can trust you three enough…"

(Because… You know….)

Skye didn't want to look stupid, but he did anyway, "Unfortunately m'am, we're not from around here."

"Well…. I can't imagine, this place has so many people…." And how come you didn't think of that?… Megan leaned against the table a little. "I just don't want you guys around the campus– it shouldn't take long before they catch you for trespassing…" She felt extremely awkward.
"I can show you the way," Tobias said happily, "If that's what you're implying… Or… I can just go back to my room."

"No" said Skye, "I don't think you understand, You see I was being literal, We are not just foreign to this city, we're not from this world." he said,
(Imma just ignore the fact that she didn't see Firiko's wings)

(Lol she tryina not be rude and be like 'ew you're weird' I shoulda said something, honestly.)

"Not from this…. World?" Tobias was a bit discombobulated by that fact, and he became confused. "Then how did you get here? And…."
"Don't bog them down with questions," Megan hushed him down a little. "Although… I wouldn't mind asking for an explanation…" She maneuvered in front of Tobias, just in case they had some sort of 'nice guy' act going on.
Tobias was simply distracted, and began braiding Megan's hair.

"We don't know how we got here" said Firiko, "The 3 of us know each other, but we were all miles away from each other last I checked,"

"No kidding, Mate" said Rio, "Anyway when the three of us woke up we were chained down and some weirdo stopped by saying he wanted something from us, and then he left us alone."

"We need to figure out where we are, and how to get back, and sooner rather than later, " finished Skye, "Besides who knows what the people of your world will do to us if they find out what we really are, "

Megan was left on edge. What was she supposed to do? "I'm not sure really how to help you…" She put her chin in her hand, and she felt a tug on her hair. "Tobias, not now, please." She hissed lightly.
He let it go, and it was still left braided part way.
"I can't just say you're all robots…. Since you have a magic element, and that's just… Sort of rude," She added quietly. But… What would the people here do with them? "I just don't have the slightest idea on what to do with the three of you. But it'd probably help if you'd stay out of the public."

"We figured as much, besides we're pretty sure that weird man we saw when we got here was the one who brought us here," Said Firiko,

"Which means that we'll have to find him if we have any hope of going home." concluded Skye.
"Any chance you might be able to help?" asked Skye, "I understand if you aren't willing"

"I would help," Megan smiled unwarily. "But I'm afraid I'm extremely busy with work, and Tobias has school."
He held in the grim expression. Going to school almost got me killed by a car… Tobias didn't want to object, yet he didn't care about learning to socialize. "I can help."
"I don't want you– er– getting killed doing this kind of thing!" Megan didn't want to become that one person that was extremely overprotective, but it was something about this issue that seemed to be raising red flags to her. "After today, I'm not sure if I should leave you out of my sight for too long." Why can't you trust him being on his own?…

"We could help you with all of that," offered Skye, "We're all quick learners, So I'm sure we could help."

"You mean, help me with my work? Or help me help you in the best way???" Megan was getting a bit confused, and she didn't really like not knowing what to do.
"Just let me help them, Megan," Tobias said, finishing up her braid. "It'll be best for them– school can wait."

"Both" Said Skye, "But I was referring to the first one,"
Firiko and Rio stayed quiet, both knew full well that Skye could persuade anyone to do anything that was within reason.
