My first RP i created on here..

Your character is minding their own business. Or maybe they're not, maybe they're getting attacked, chased, annoyed..whatever. When suddenly, they black out..and wake up on a forest floor. It's not a crazy, alien forest. Not magical. Just..somewhat normal. Judging by the animals and the fact the sun is still in the sky, you're still on Earth (unless your character wasn't from Earth to begin with.)

And you're kind of in trouble, since you don't where you are and how the locals will deal with you.

..time to find that out!

RULES

1. I'd prefer your character to be human.
2. Swearing, violence is fine.
3. Follow all of andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer)'s rules
4. Nothing too over-powered
5. In the event of a fight, no auto-hitting or dodging every single thing
6. Make sure your character finds things out on their own, no knowing things they've been told out of character

The setting of this RP is semi-steampunk with some modern and sci-fi touches, but since you'll show up in a forest you won't really see anything steampunk at first.
I'd prefer a minimum of 3 sentences. I understand english isnt everyone's first language (it's not mine) but try to use good grammar in character.
No clue about romance since my character isn't the romantic type, but if you really, really want romance that badly, my character is a straight man. otherwise go ahead!

I'm so sorry this took so long
Name: Jaoel
Age: 21
Gender: Male
Universe of Origin: a renaissance-type kingdom filled with elemental magic, very natural place meaning valleys, mountains, forests, with bunches of villages scattered around (Is this enough?)
Appearance: very sculpted and noble-looking features, quite a hollow look to his face, often giving him a haughty expression / A slight cupid's bow and retroussé nose / Wide-set almond-shaped eyes, tawny with grey reflections, short thick eyelashes / Pale olive skin tone, always a slightly flushed complexion / Full but well-groomed eyebrows, sandy brown hair with silver streaks on the longer side, about to his chin, wavy and tamed, clean-shaven face / One small but visible crater scar, by his right ear and just above his jawbone from literally falling on his face when he was a child (but he always makes up ridiculous stories for it- his favourite one being that he got it when a piece of star fell from the heavens and landed on his cheek, burning him and leaving the mark) / 5'9, 165 lbs, lithe and reasonably muscular figure on an otherwise long frame, has a sort of sheen to his skin that makes him look as though he's wet
Personality: Has a lot of flair and energy, charming in a sly sort of way, playful with quite a wry humour but doesn't always stop himself before the joke gets cruel. Always energetic and ready to mess with someone's head, fits the nymph-like personality in the sense that he messes with people's heads and uses taunting humour a lot – but he's human through and through when it comes to remorse and emotion (he isn't scared of getting emotional), cannot sit still or follow rules and it's very hard to get him to take something seriously, lacks basic tact meaning he's painfully honest and blunt, very quick-minded and snippy, proud; exudes a boyish confidence that's hard to see through depending on how well you know him, quite easy to hurt his feelings though he won't say anything until he knows it could hurt you however much it hurt him, very smooth liar and can fake trust with anyone - considers himself as fun, clever and emotional

Universe of Origin: This one, where the RP is taking place. But a brief description is that it’s got lots of forests, and specifically in the area of this RP it takes place in still plenty of rural area left. Sort of steampunk-ish when you get to bigger cities. Has a modern touch to it.
Appearance: Soldatov is a tall man of about 6’3 and weighing around 180 lbs. Much of his true features remain unknown to the general public, aside from a few people, though I’m sure there’s records of his full face…somewhere.
From what most people have seen is that he’s got pale skin, normal for someone of a northern background where they don’t get much sun. He’s got dark brown, nearly black eyes, and some people believe him to have shortish, but not cut right to the scalp, black hair that he keeps tucked under a ushanka.
Bringing us onto the topic of clothing, Soldatov is well known for wearing dark colours which blend well with his type of job. His clothing he wears is suitable for the cool temperature often experienced where he lives; he wears trench coats typically or something of that similar design. Boots as well, and gloves.
As I mentioned before, his entire face isn’t visible, but his eyes, and sometimes parts of his head is.
Personality: He never speaks that much, preferring to let his actions speak for him (or using gestures.) Soldatov has a low tolerance for those he finds ‘annoying’. Still, he’s very inquisitive, interested in learning more about things he finds..well, interesting.
Despite his seemingly serious demeanour, Soldatov has been described by those who ‘know him’ as someone they only keep around because of his skill and experience, and ability to get the job done. He appears to believe he was born in the past, despite his age, and may seem ‘crazy’ to some that dig into his true personality.
Soldatov is eager to impress as well, meaning he will sacrifice just about anything to complete a mission. He does not like failure. And if you were to say, give him a choice between two solutions in a problem; one being simple and quick, the other being more flashier, he would chose the latter.

The forests of the mainland were quite well, filled with towering trees, green bushes and flowers all around. Animals roamed the area, closer to rural areas, often serving as a steady food source for the townspeople. The lands were quite nice; even the best, in Soldatov’s opinion, but maybe that was his bias coming through. Not that he’d ever say he had any bias, of course.

Said man walked through the bright forest, seemingly alone. Though he was alone; his comrades just back at their campgrounds. He wasn’t alone in terms of animals, though. Birds fluttered overhead.

It was one of those moments where you had nothing to do, so you when to occupy yourself. Where you got a pause, a moment of peace. Even in that moment of peace, Soldatov kept his rifle with him, just in case. It served as a good deterrent for anything out there trying to sneak up on him, after all.

He paused by a tree, leaning against it as he looked around the area, just out of sheer boredom - but also to get to know the area.

It was dark when Jaoel opened his eyes. He was lying on his back on a damp, uneven surface, head resting on what felt like a stone. He must be lying in dirt, then. As he regained his senses, more and more surroudnings faded into existence before his eyes. Towering emerald trees, vibrant flowers dripping from every branch and the quiet harmonies of a symphony of woodland creatures.
It felt ever so familiar, and yet completely strange. Jaoel sat up, shaking the dirt out of his curls.
How had he arrived here? Had he been transported? Maybe the guilty party was still nearby… "Hello?"

Soldatov continued to observe for a few more moments, when he paused, hearing something. It was hard to tell, but he could have sworn it was a voice. A woodpecker is heard nearby and he glances at the tree as the bird flies off.

He stands up, removing himself from the tree, and clicks his rifle. The noise is very clear to anyone nearby, though he knows that anyone further away will have trouble hearing it. With a final look to the surface of the trees, Soldatov moves away and towards where he heard the supposed voice. He’s not making much of an attempt to avoid making too much noise as he moves - his boots, stepping on dry leaves are clearly heard.

Jaoel’s gaze snapped over in the direction that the sound of footsteps was coming. He held his breath and silently padded further into the forest, hiding behind a tree in hopes that the approaching person would walk into the clearing for Jaoel to evaluate.
He grabbed the tree, head leaning slightly to the side around the trunk, to look out into the clearing.

Soldatov notes that it feels rather quiet for the forest. Normally you could hear at least some birds, but the only thing he can hear is himself. Maybe he alerted the local animals and they left the area, maybe something else did. Or someone. He readies his rifle as he approaches the clearing; while he does not shoot he seems to be on high alert. He did have reasons to be that way, anyways.

He exits out into the clearing, walking rather slowly. Soldatov looks around, then suddenly stops. He kneels down to the ground, looking at the dirt. Imprints mark the dirt, and he knows something was here recently, the question being how recent and what it is.

He doesn’t waste too much time on looking at the ground before he stands back up and continues looking around. Here, he takes his time. He seems rather determined to find whatever he heard.

Jaoel stares at the man, intimidated by his determined and serious gait. He considered his options— even if he managed to hide for a while, this man didn’t seem to be giving up. So, Jaoel made up his mind.
Heart pounding in his chest, he walked out into the light with his hands in the air. “Don’t shoot,” was the first thing that came out of his mouth.

Soldatov immediately; or close to anyways; turns to the new person who had just walked out of hiding. He studied the other man for a moment, noting what he had said and how his hands were displayed. Soldatov stayed silent for a few moments, it might have seemed worrying to the average person when he did that. Finally, he stood straight and slightly lowered his weapon, keeping his eyes on the other person.

Finally, he spoke, asking a question. "Where are you from?"

“I’m not sure how to answer, considering I’ve got no clue as to where I am. My kingdom is called Netha. Have you heard of it?” Jaoel asked cautiously, tentatively lowering his hands.

Soldatov seemed to think. “I have not heard of..” he paused.

“Kingdom? What do you mean by that? There are no kingdoms that I know of.” His tone became almost suspicious. Was this some sort of cover story?

Jaoel immediately caught the suspicion in the man’s tone and took another step back. “Listen,” he said quietly, “clearly I’m not from here, but I don’t know how I got here. My name is Jaoel, from Netha like I said. I’m not a danger, I promise, I’m only lost.” The fear in his voice was transparent, and his hands had gone back up to behind his head.
