“That would be really nice,” Mitch said with a grin, leaning in a little bit closer to Ari. His roommate could probably smell the alcohol on his breath since they were so close. But, Mitch turned his head to look at Kyo, out of the car, and frowned. He downed the rest of his drink, then muttered even though the cup was empty, “Hold this.” He didn’t even wait to see if Ari would hold it for him, letting go of the cup and moving outside the vehicle again to put his hands on his hips. It almost made him look like a child frustrated with not being able to get the biggest lollipop. “Kyo, get that finger down this instant, and get in the car. I wanna go home.” The alcohol was probably affecting Mitch in a not-so-good way too.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Ari caught the drink, and watched him go. "Mitch…" He trailed off with a sigh. "Please don't start a fight. I don't want to have to pry you two hooligans apart." He muttered, dragging a hand through his hair and setting Mitch's drink in the cup holder.

Mitch, with his extremely short stature and very little meat on his bones, would easily be taken down by Kyo. However, the alcohol he had drunk was making him bold, and he stood his ground in front of Kyo with just a tiny bit of sass in his stance. Heavens, he would probably get himself into a lot of trouble if he didn’t have any friends to look out for him.

"Mitch, Buddy, I love you, but I am not in the mood for talking or getting in the car with any of you. Especially considering that I will literally make the gas pipe explode." Kyo rubbed his eyes, pulling his jacket tighter around himself.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Ari stuck his head out of the car cautiously, wondering what Callista was doing, and hoping he wouldn't have to break up a fight. He got out of the car quietly, ready to break up Mitch and Kyo if a fight started.

“Kyoooooo,” Mitch complained, taking a step forward. In his head, Mitch looked intimidating for a small guy. In reality, he was starting to look like a tiny drunk. “Ari,” Mitch turned his head to look at his other roommate, “tell him to get in the car and… and something.” Mitch stepped closer to Ari, swaying a little but he hardly noticed.

"You're drunk as all hell, just get in the car and go home Mitch." Kyo raised an eyebrow, and turned away from him, continuing to watch.

“But you’re my friend…. you should come home too,” Mitch whined, his eyes drooping a little bit. There probably had been something else in his drink other than alcohol, because all the color just seemed to get brighter and more pronounced. It was really pretty, the way the stars in the sky seemed to dance and swirl…

@ElderGod-Icefire

Ari reached out to steady Mitch. "You're drunk as fuck, Mitch." He replied, then looked at Kyo. "Please come home. I don't want you to get jumped or hurt, and I don't want to leave you here alone." His voice was gentle, but firm.

Mitch took Ari’s hand, then almost stumbled into his chest, “I’m not drunk…” He mumbled. Was Ari’s shirt changing color or was that just Mitch? Why did everything seem blurry but crystal clear at the same time? “I don’t feel good…” Mitch muttered, almost taking off his beanie because he felt hot but stopping himself. He was at least aware of himself enough to know to keep himself a secret.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Ari frowned, looking down at Mitch. He felt the shorter man's forehead for a fever. "In what way don't you feel good?" He asked gently, blue eyes reflecting his worry. He wondered why, too. Had the other male caught a bug of some sort? Or what?

Mitch looked up at Ari wearily, squinting his eyes a little. His forehead did indeed feel a little warm, but not incredibly hot. He couldn’t tell if Ari’s eyes were blue or orange… “I think I have something in my eyes…” Mitch mumbled, blinking a couple of times but it didn’t make his hazy environment go away. “Is your shirt green?” He muttered through half-closed lips, “Wait, wait, I mean purple…” There definitely had to have been something else in his drink.

@Euric_Knight

"Why can't I just die already," Callista groaned. "Everyone get in the fucking car before I run you over with it."

@ElderGod-Icefire

"Grey." Ari replied softly. "My shirt is grey." He frowned. "I think there was something in your drink…" He grabbed Mitch's cup out of the car, looking down at it. He grabbed his own as well, trying to see if there was some sort of difference. Without tasting them. He didn't want to taste test. He looked at Mitch. "Sit down in the car and close your eyes, okay? That might help."

Mitch’s drink looked liked there was a bit of white crumbs in it, like as if it was sugar water when the sugar hadn’t dissolved entirely. Mitch stumbled a little as he climbed into the car, finding the task a little difficult because it kept looking like the car was moving. He plopped onto the seat and his eyes widened in pain—he had managed to forget about how sensitive his wings were yet again and squished them beneath his back.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Ari frowned slightly, and reached in, some of the white crumbs sticking to his fingers. He sniffed it carefully. Drugs. Did someone drug him? Why? He wondered, wiping his hand on his pants and setting the drinks inside. "Don't drink anymore. From yours or mine. Have some water, but no more alcohol. Someone drugged your drink." Ari said. He could still feel the lingering effects of his own drinks, but he wasn't easily affected by it anyway.

“O-Okay…” Mitch replied woozily, closing his eyes. He felt like he was going to be sick for the rest of the night. He curled his knees to his chest, leaning forward against the back of the driver’s seat as to not squish his wings again. “My back hurts…” Mitch complained, in his half-delirious state. His wings were aching from when he crushed them beneath his back.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Ari nodded. "Okay." He helped Mitch lay down, sitting down and resting the shorter male's head on his legs. "Lay on your stomach. Maybe that will help." He said gently, stroking the tufts of hair that stuck out from under his hat. He looked at Kyo. "Please just get in the car, Kyo."

Mitch did as he was told, laying on his stomach and nestling his head on Ari’s upper thigh. Tonight had gone horribly wrong. Curse him for suggesting going to the party in the first place. But… but if Mitch had gone alone, and had gotten drugged, who would’ve been there to look out for him as Ari was doing now? He turned his head a little to look at his taller roommate that he was currently resting his head on, mumbling something incoherent but sounded kinda like a thank you.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Ari looked down at him, still stroking a hand over his hair lightly. "You're welcome." He said quietly. "Now, if somebody would get his ass in the damn car, we could leave!" He gave Kyo a significant look.

"One, I can take care of myself. I've lived on my own for ages." Kyo replied, shouldering his bag again. "Two, if any of you try to get me into that car I will bite you." He hissed, face in a snarl. He was not going to deal with this right now.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Ari groaned. "Kyo…why?" He asked slowly. "What's going on? Is there any way I can help? I don't want to leave you here alone. You're my roommate, and i hope my friend, and I care about you." He spoke slowly, quietly.

"I am on the verge of punching anyone that comes near me. A car is super small." Kyo started to list, walking off with a shrug.

@ElderGod-Icefire

"Cars aren't…" Ari trailed off with a groan. "Kyo, you fuck, get back here." He said crabbily. "If a car is too small, should I pick you up on a motorcycle? Is that bigger? Or a van? Or a fucking bus?"

"Fuck you. I can walk. Or better yet, get into the godsdamned ocean and get vaporized." He growled, shoving on his headphones and walking out of sight.

@ElderGod-Icefire

"Kyo!" Ari shouted. "Damn it. Stupid fucker." He muttered under his breath, tearing a hand through his hair. "Callista, let's go." He said, closing the door. "Kyo is being a stubborn fuck. We can come back later."

@Euric_Knight

Callista’s shoulders slumped as she let out a sigh. “Finally,” she grumbled, pulling the car out of the parking spot and onto the road.
