"Like I told you earlier…your passion is..well it's awe inspiring really, even if it is placed doing the wrong thing you have so much will to change things and make them better.
I wish I could be like that myself..but really I'm not that gold at making things better or helping people." She felt the urge to cry but she pushed It back.
Lucian wasn’t sure how to act. This was all very strange. When she finished though, his eyes were wide. “How? You help people all the time! How am I better at that than you? I’m a terrible person!” He said this freely, from the bottom of his heart, because he really believed it. He was the one who was committing terrible deeds, who took things away from others. She was always making things right. How could she care about him?

Her eyes widened with surprise at his words, seeing how he was talking to her. She let out a little bit of a giggle as she listened to him speak.
"I don't mean to laugh at you..but your kind of proving my point aren't you? Your so confident in what you believe in, and your not afraid to show it."
Against his will, his cheeks reddened. “Sh— shut up!” He threw the words at her, taking a step back. “Whatever. Next question. When did you first start caring about me?”

She blushed as she saw his cheeks reddened but she couldn't help but giggle softy as he hastily moved to tell her to shut it up.
She looked away in thought as he asked her that question, before looking back at him.
"Uhm..probably about a month into us fighting each other."
He covered his face with his hands. Why did she have to giggle like that? “Oh my gods. A month? Gods. I can’t with this right now.” He uncovered his face, still blushing with something like fear or embarrassment in his eyes. “Well, I definitely don’t care about you. Don’t even expect me to ever return your feelings in even the slightest degree, got it?”

"oh well, i suppose i will always have these unrequited feelings with me. At least now you know, but i will still die alone." she spoke, not clear on whether she was serious or if she was just messing with him.
she just lie back in the metal rope she was trapped in.
“Yes.” Lucian crossed his arms over his chest, trying to guard himself from the feeling of unease her words gave him. “Now, I’ll let you go. Just don’t try anything, and don’t speak about this to anyone.” His eyes narrowed. “Or else.”

"And if I do? You going to track me and down and threaten to hurt the one I care about most? Self harm isn't a joke." She shook her head as if she was scolding him.
"It's not like anyone would believe me, most would call me crazy."
“You know what?” He scoffs. “Maybe I will self harm, I deserve it anyway.” He actually looked serious about it, his eyes darkening as he turned and moved the lever of the trap, lowering Robin’s net.

Her eyes widened, “no no you shouldn’t do that. No one deserves self harm.” She frowned immensely. “Please don’t..”
He almost laughed. He couldn’t look at her now. “Wow. You… you really do care about me, then?”
Her net landed gently on the ground and fell around Robin’s feet. “You’re free. Go on.” He turned to face her, waving his hand to her to shoo her away.

She just kinda stood there, before walking over to him, "what if I decided to not leave?"
He blinked, raised an eyebrow. “Then I would assume that, despite how much you care for me, you’re going to take this opportunity to finally defeat me.”

"Hm…that is a very astute observation, maybe I am finally going to defeat you. I will use my secret move…" She got closer to him with a grin, before hugging him. "Hug attack!"
Lucian almost stepped back when he saw her grin. Somehow it struck true fear into his heart. He nearly passed away when he felt her arms around him, he just couldn’t understand. “Wh— what is this?”

"Do you not know what a hug is?" She asked as looked at him from like, right next to his head lol.
“I know what a hug is!” He fumed. “I just don’t understand— is there an ulterior motive here? Are you going to stab me now?” He just could not accept that she was really showing him affection, or that she really cared for him.

"What-? No! I'm not going to stab you Mr trust issues. I'm just hugging you to show that I care, that's what hugs are for. Your such a dork." She continued to hug him.
“Oh.” He waited for a few moments. Nothing happened. Suddenly, there was a pang in his chest. “This— this is actually really nice.” His voice warbled as his chest began to heave. He didn’t even think he would admit that. Before he knew it, he was crying, tears running down his face. He tried to suppress the sobs that rose up in his throat.

"Mhm, hugs are nice." She spoke softly as she hugged him, though she noticed his voice kinda going weird towards the end. Then she started to hear soft sobs, though it definitely hard to hear, she could almost feel his body tensing and she started to massage his back to get him to just let go and let it out.

Why was she so warm? Wasn’t she a lizard? Being in her arms felt so good, and he hated it. The moment she started rubbing his back, he cried harder, sniffling and breathing shakily. He felt his legs weaken, and he sank to the floor.
“I— I’m sorry…” he sobbed.

She felt…upset? She felt mad at his sister for not taking care of him up to the point where he was sobbing in her arms. Well should would gladly take care of him even if his sister didn't.
Even if they were on opposite sides.
"Hey its okay..you don't have to apologize. Just let it all out, you'll feel a lot better." She spoke as she sank to the floor with him.
“No, no it’s not that,” he sniffled. “I’m— I’m such a terrible person. I still don’t understand why you’re hugging me. I don’t— I don’t understand why you care about me. I’m the villain, you’re the hero. I’ve— I’ve hurt you… so many times…” he kept crying, trying to wipe his tears away, but to no avail.

"I..I guess it's just because I've been hurt before…so, I'm used to being hurt. Though…with you, it's different I guess. I feel like you actually listen to me. Besides, I actually have fun doing witty banter with you."
“Oh…” he sniffled again. “Hah… yeah. It’s… different with you, too.” That was all he would ever say, he would not elaborate. She doesn’t need to know. He began to calm down, slowly but surely.

“Thanks.” She smiled at Lucian, glad she was helping calm him down at least a little bit. She moved to pat him on the head softly, almost stroking his head.
She moved to pull away from him after a little bit.
He stiffened a little when she touched his head, but soon relaxed. Taking a deep breath, he started to wipe his tears away. “Honestly, I still don’t understand. You’re the strangest person I think I’ve ever met.”
