Basically I’m bored and haven’t rped in awhile, so does anyone wanna give it a go? I have perfect characters for GxG, BxB, and BxG, so I’m okay with whatever. Just ask to join and we can flesh out the rest.

Sounds good. You can put a description of your character up if you want but I’m not gonna bother since I’m quite busy atm. I’ll just have you know my characters name is Octavian Hunter and he’s a bit of a recluse who doesn’t get out much, he also is an inventor. One other thing is he gets embarrassed easily and is a bit of a sarcastic know it all who falls in love easily but tries not to show it. This is a fantasy world so whatever your character looks like is fine, same with powers and stuff like that.
Any ideas for the plot?

And for the plot, my character would be looking for his lost bird so maybe he could ask Octavian for help making a contraption to find his bird since he heard he’s an inventor?

Here’s a quick bio then I’ll be ready
Name: Goes by Marquise Lamolle (Not his real name, his real name is Finneas)
Sexuality: Pan, probably. He’s never had romantic experience
Appearance: Ginger hair pulled back behind him, the length reaches the nape of his neck; bumped nose, dull green eyes, scars across his face where wrinkles might be
Age: appears 19, he never discloses his actual age (but he isn’t immortal)
Profession: Alchemy
Personality: I’ll need to flesh this out more when roleplaying him, I haven’t determined a set personality yet
Octavian had headed to the mechanics shop early in the morning to avoid conversation whilst picking up the supplies he ordered, he pushed a loose bit of his black hair out of his face with a gloved hand and continued, grabbing the box of supplies and quietly thanking the employee for their service. So far it had been a quiet peaceful morning, No interruptions, nothing at all, just a lazy breeze, messing with his hair and rustling colorful fall leaves as they either fell from the trees or clung on fighting against the wind. Octavian pushed open the door of the ship, eager to exit and go home. The bell jingled as he left and stepped on to the sidewalk.

Marquise walked down the busy street littered with shops, but almost every shop name he scanned over proved worthless. He huff quietly, and whistled for his lost bird for the fifth time that minute. He began to grow impatient, but that impatience quelled when he noticed a semi-promising mechanics shop and a man leaving it with a box full of supplies. He hurried towards him, his black tailcoat billowing behind him, “Sir!” He called with a lifted hand, “You, sir, what do they sell in that store?”
Octavian looked at the man who had approached him warily, “Mechanic supplies.” He didn’t ask why or who he was, Octavian just wanted to work at home.

He jogged up and stopped a few feet in front of him, “That’s exactly what I need,” he offered a pleasant grin, “Are you much of a mechanic, or an inventor, by chance, sir?”
Octavian hesitated, What does this guy want?. “…Inventor,” He replied, still mildly confused.

“Inventor,” he echoed, even more pleased. “Would you be willing to help me with something? It shouldn’t take long, I just need a gadget.”
Octavian wasn’t usually asked to make things unless for an Inventor’s conference. “I…I suppose, what do you need?” Octavian asked after thinking for a moment.

“I need help fixing a device of mine. It’s a magnetic location device, and it just doesn’t seem to be working for me,” he huffed, pulling the trinket out of his pocket, “I’m a scientist, but no mechanic. Could I hire your assistance? I can even pay you.”
Octavian was still confused that this guy came up out of nowhere and asked for his assistance, “I…um, sure,” he replied.

“I appreciate it greatly,” he grinned, inwardly relieved that he found help. He needed to find his bird as soon as possible, “How much do you charge? I should have enough to decently pay you.”
“Oh, you really don’t need to pay me,” Octavian replied, he pointed the device, “Can I see that?”

He hesitated before handing it to him, “Sure..it’s a location device that works from magnetism. I worked really hard on it,” He half laughed.
Octavian took the machine carefully in his gloved hands and looked at it closely, “Hmmm, there are a couple errors…and looks like a wire was a little bit old…this will take me about ten minutes to fix,” Octavian looking up at the other and handing the machine back. Now he wasn’t too comfortable letting people in his house besides his sister of course, but all of his other tools and such were at his house. “All of my working stuff is at my house so if you follow me, we’ll go there and I can fix it.”

“Oh, awesome,” he grinned, taken aback by how easy it sounded to fix. “Thank you so much—I can’t thank you enough.” He straightened his back excitedly, eager to get his gadget fixed, “Let’s go!” He bounced.
