Anyone want to start a new rp?

(sorry, I've been busy with summer school. I'll respond later today)

(i forgot about this bc i forgot to bookmark it and then regular school started like three weeks after i left summer school🧍. i apologize for keeping you waiting for so long)

Lillith stared at the outstretched hand, and it took her a couple of seconds to realize that she was supposed to take it. After Isla helped her up, she avoided looking at her by looking if she had received any injuries. "Um, not really. Just a couple of scratches, but those will heal up soon enough."

Lilith nodded. "Yeah, I'm fine. It's nothing that hasn't happened to me before." She paused as Lilith took her in. "And what about you? What are you doing here? Many people don't come to the forest. Something about them thinking it's cursed or something."

Lilith raised an eyebrow. She didn't quite believe her. You would think she would have at least seen her once, considering that she lived here. "Oh, I, um, live just a little farther into the forest. I usually spend my time in my cabin or just wandering in general."

Lilith stared at the tree behind Isla, and after considering if it'd be better if she told the truth, or told a little white lie, she shook her head. "No idea. Perhaps a hunter? I don't know anyone in this forest that would create a trap such as that. I'm Lilith, by the way."

Lilith shrugged. "I haven't left my home these past couple of weeks. I've been nursing an animal back to health, and all the things I need are usually not far from my cottage."

"A bird," she replied. "Not sure what type of bird it is, but Misty brought it back to the cottage after a nasty storm. But it's been healing nicely, and I think it'd be about time I release it back into the wild."

Lilith looked a bit surprised that Isla might be able to help her out, after all, it wasn't so common for people to know about birds. Perhaps this girl comes from a rich family? It was certainly something she couldn't dismiss. "Well, let me see, it has a white, maybe grey belly, with an orange-reddish chest. The rest of the bird is a light brown color." She pauses, trying to think of anything else that might help. "Oh, and he's sorta small, for an adult that is."

She nods. One could describe the ingredients of a potion to her and she might be able to give you the correct name, or she might not. It was the same thing with the bird. "Ah, of course. Would seeing it be of any help?" Lilith asks, her hands playing with the hem of her skirt.

"Just a little deeper into the forest," she says with a smile as she starts walking. "Don't worry, I'm not going to eat you or anything." There's a pause, and then, "Misty on the other hand…"

Lilith laughed at the girl's comment and then looked around her surroundings with a soft smile. "It's very beautiful, isn't it? One of the many reasons why I decided to leave the village and come to the forest. It also helps that nature gives me a boost, of sorts." The deeper the two walked, the bigger the trees became, and at some point, they reached a small dirt path that stopped near a cottage. "Well, here we are. My home." A black cat appeared out of nowhere and nudged Lilith. "And this is Misty, my familiar."
