Bane looked at Naize. "What in the word could that mean? I am perfectly fine! See, not broken." He was fidgeting with his necklace, then he started to fidget with his hands. "I am perfectly fine." He let out a nervous laugh and waved a hand. "Why would you even say that in the first place? Do I look broken to you? Certainly not!" He looked down to try and hide the redness on his face.

Bane flinched a bit. "Lis, Lis, Lis! Lis! Think that is your name. Yes!" Bane panic plus Bane nervousness never worked well together. He grew redder by the second. "I think you need to lay down—take a sick day." His eyes were wide with surprise. "Yes, you said that I am pretty 9 times— I am not that cute. You—You don't have to cuddle me, even thought you did that already… Oh! Dear lord." He was overwhelmed by this whole situation and the emotions that came with it.
(Cinnabon is accepted. You can call me anything you'd like. But yes! Kiss him already. I'm dying—I've been waiting lmao)

Bane stopped all motion. His eyes were super, super wide. He didn't know what to do. His heart was pounding like crazy. The butterflies in his stomach fluttered around, making him feel weird. His head spun around in multiple circles. Not only that, he was completely red in the face. He let himself sink into the kiss before turning his head away, the emotions overwhelming him greatly. Was that why his dad forbid love? Not only that, this was his first kiss. It was very awkward for him, and he couldn't help to think how awkward it would be afterward.

(The fun part is - Bane has to deal with telling Lis! Because in this state, when she passes out again, she has no recollection of what happened, much like Bane earlier.)
Lis giggles.
"You are bright bright bright red. I didn't know anyones face could go that red!" she says.
"Ooh, pretty lights!" she says, going cross-eyed and passing out again. A few moments later she wakes up, to find Bane on top of her.
"Oh- um- hi?" she says, her face now going scarlet. "Why exactly are we like this? Why is your face such an amazing shade of red? And why, oh why, do you look like you've had your first kiss?"
And then a loud knocking comes from the door. She looks at Bane. "Um - let me up?"

Bane suddenly became tormented with his own mind. "I—you—how do I explain this." His face started to get redder and redder. "Well—you see, you passed out and woke up—and you were all—all." He's breathing really fast. He just can't get the words out. "Lovey and cuddly— and— and." He seemed like he was going to pass out. "You said I was pretty, and that I had pretty eyes, and." His voice started to break from all the emotions clouding his head. "And you pulled me on top of you and you—you kissed me." He sat up, letting Lis get up. He looked like a wreck. A good one or a bad one. Who knew. A little smile broke through as he stared at the ground. He was shaking.

Lis turns bright red. Fire red. "Oh. Oh. I-"
She starts laughing. "Okay. Should've warned you about that. Gets more serious if it's with someone I like, so I guess this makes it a lot easier. I like you."
She reaches up and pushes a loose strand of hair behind Bane's ear. "That might solve a bit."
She gets up and chuckles, going to open the door. She finds a drenched girl standing on the doorstep. The girl whispers help before she collapses. Lis catches her and brings her inside.
Bane made a tiny, little whimper. He didn't know what to say. Everything felt weird! The butterflies flew around at rapid speeds. "Yeah—" That was all he could say. He was completely spellbound. Lis could probably see it on his face. She could probably tell how he felt and what he would say. He just couldn't comprehend the past few minutes in a few seconds. Bane took a deep breath to calm himself, then said. "I do too." This was something he had to be sure of. Who else could these feelings appear to? So far, no one else. He then looked up at Lis and his brow furrowed. "Solve what?"

Lis watches Naize, then sighs. "I'm gonna go with Naize really quickly. Two things: door. And food."
Bane looked at Lis. "Since you promised to help me. Promise to help me control my anger. No one was ever so adamant to help me. I admired it— then I started to develop feelings. Things I have never felt before. It was confusing at first, and it is still confusing. I am not sure what love feels like, but I'm sure it must be the butterflies in my stomach." Bane tilted his head after telling Lis when he started to like her. "Your problems?" He then heard Lis tell him she needed to go with Naize. "Alright, but we do need to talk sometime. Alone."

Lis looks abashed, but also happy. "I've been promising to help you pretty much since I met you."
"Yes. My problems. . ." she murmurs, her gaze turning distant. She shakes her head. "Enough of that."
She nods and smiles. "I know."
She oges to the door first and opens it. She finds a drenched girl standing on the doorstep. The girl whispers "help" before she collapses. Lis catches her and brings her inside, calling out for Bane.
"Get me my bandolier!" she shouts.
Bane looked up, shaking his head when his name was called. He grabbed Lis' bandolier and ran to the front door. He gave Lis her bandolier and looked at the girl. "This isn't good." He muttered. He took the girl from Lis. "Lis, you might want to do this very quickly!" His shout was urgent. He could sense things no one else could, but death wasn't exactly the best scent to catch wind of. He placed two fingers on the girl's throat where her pulse would be. "Lis." He whined, "Quickly!"

Lis nods, focused, taking the bandolier. First, she pulls out a bright, glowing blue syringe. She injects it into the girl's arm. Next, she grabs a dark red syringe, pressing it gainst the girls neck and injecting it there. With a shudder and a cough, the girl bolts up and looks around. Lis sighs in relief, and looks at Bane. "She'll live."
The girl falls back again, her breathing turning even, color returning to her face.
Bane sighed in relief. "Death almost had its grasp around her. I hate this power." He closed his eyes, wishing he could return to the moments before. The word was peaceful. Everything was quiet and perfect. " Thank God she'll live. I hate seeing another soul go." He gave Lis the girl, standing back up. "Do you need anything else?" His voice had a level of sadness to it, as if he actually witnessed death.
