(Ok so as far as I know I’m playing, in no particular order: Van Helsing, Arthur, Quincy, Dracula, and one or two of the lesbian vampire ladies. Let’s go!)

It was a rainy evening when Quincy went to visit his friend, Mina. It was a curious story as to how they’d met, Lucy (his lover, alongside Jack and Arthur who he adored as much as they adored each other) had initially introduced them as an attempt to solve a little love triangle the four had going on. But when it came down to it, Mina was… well, taken, by a nice young man by the name of Johnathan Harker. Nice young man, as if Quincy wasn’t older than 25 himself. But ultimately, the four worked it out and Quincy found himself dating, for the first time in his life, two of the most handsome men he’d ever laid eyes on, and one of the most beautiful and beloved women he’d ever seen.

Despite, or perhaps because of, being trans, Quincy Philip Morris had always thought of himself as straight. But weirdly, it made sense how the other three and him fit together. It was like a puzzle, snug and molded to fit just right in each others’ crevices-that could be taken as innuendo or as sappy metaphor, Quincy meant the latter.

But lately, Lucy had become so sick she couldn’t leave the house, and Mina lived in the next city over (otherwise, the two women would be inseparable- Quincy didn’t dare to ask their history in its entirety, but he’d figured they might have been a little bit more than friends in their uni days from what he’d understood from Harker telling him about the two ladies). Ultimately, he was the middle ground as he lived right in between the cities, on a farm he ran and worked at as his primary occupation. Somewhere between cowboy and crop specialist, he did what he needed to do to keep the ones he loved happy.

So, Quincy made his way to Mina Murray’s doorstep, delivering news of Lucy’s condition to her beloved friend. He knocked, twice, fist firm against the door yet not overbearing. He was confident in everything he did, including his knocks.
