Other than that mini paragraph, I don’t have a real plot.
I’ve been wanting to do an RP where everyone they know has died but the one person extremely close to them (whether it be a brother, sister, best friend, romantic partner).

Name: Caston Adler
Age: 20
Gender: male
Sexuality: Straight
Appearance: Caston looks quite similar to Tom Holland, with the same overall face shape, his eyes are a turquoise blue though and his hair is a shade darker. He almost always has a small or mischevious smile on his face even if he doesn't want to seem happy. He's 5'10" and is decently muscled but quite lean at the same time.
Style: He wears a lot of dark jeans and sweatshirts, with plain colored t-shirts underneath.
Personality: Caston has an interesting personality, he can be very temperamental and mean at times, but he's also very playful and fun loving. He cares deeply for the people he loves and wouldn't think twice about dying for them. He can also be overprotective at times if he doesn't trust someone or someplace. After seeing his closest friend die, he's become more and more afraid of loud noises, they can cause him to have panic attacks or forget where he is (I'll develop this more as the rp goes on)

Background: Caston's life is and was a mess, his whole family is dead along with his closest friend and knowing that they weren't coming back. His life when he was young was pretty normal until he turned 16 when his mom and younger sister died. From there things just went downhill, his father and older brother passing away a few years later, and finally his closest friend Max only a few months ago from an explosion.

Personality: Gwen is closed off to everyone except the people she trusts. When around the people she likes, Gwen is outgoing, friendly and caring. She has had heartaches but hides them the best tat she can. She is determined, fierce and challenging.

Background: Gwen had a good childhood. Her parents were loving to their 4 children, and Gwen loved her life. Then she hit 13. Her parents died in a car crash at the hands of a drunk driver. Her eldest brother Ethan took in his three siblings as he was an adult. And so life was ok for 2 years. Then Ethan was shot in a freak accident. And that left Gwen with Matteo and Gabe. When it was the three of them, they were close. Then people came after them. They had to fight. They were winning, using their powers to defeat the robots the people had created. Then Matteo and Gabe were shot. 5 bullets to each brother. As they fell to the ground, Gwen lost the last two people she had at age 17. She let out a pained scream and fell to her knees, sending out a huge blast of magic that destroyed all the robots and their attempted murderers as well (like how Wanda reacts when Pietro dies, but more destruction because she’s more powerful).

She is skilled at controlling it but can lose control when she is mentally unstable.
Other: Gwen is extremely prone to receiving nightmares. If she is in a particularly bad state, her own magic leak into her dreams and pollute them. When she gets nightmares, she wakes up in a cold sweat and often doesn’t go back to sleep. Because of this, she can usually be seen with bags under her eyes, whether they are easy to see or barely noticeable.
Gwen speaks fluent French. Her mother was French and taught all of her kids French as well.

Gwen woke up in a cold sweat. She'd been expecting it, but her nightmare had been extremely bad tonight. She pulled her knees to her chest and put her chin on them, breathing heavily.

Caston was fast asleep, one arm over his chest and the other spread out beside him. His breathing was even and he looked peaceful for one of the first times in quite a few months.

Gwen rested her head in her hands, shooting a few calming waves of magic out of her hands. She fell back onto the bed, looking at Caston.

He rolled onto his side, facing her and shifting his arms so one was beneath his head. A small pained look appeared on his face but it passed by quickly, the peaceful look coming back.

Gwen looked at Caston, a pained smile appearing on her face. Why did everything have to happen to us?

"did ya leave Gwen?" He mumbled quietly, his arm patting the bed next to him as he searched for her, "You should stay a lil' longer.."

She leaned over and brushed a curl out of Caston's face. "I'm sorry," She whispered, before getting off the bed and walking out of the room.

Caston sighed quietly and rolled onto his back, "Don't leave me.." He murmured, slowly waking up. He pressed his eyes shut tighter and rolled onto his side again, trying to fall asleep.

Gwen went into the kitchen, standing an arms and body length from the bench. She leaned on the bench and put her head between her arms, staying there for a few moments before standing back up. She grabbed a coke from the fridge.

He sighed again and opened his eyes slowly, his hair was a mess but he didn't care. He propped himself up on his arms after a while and looked around the room through barely open eyes, "Gwen.." he said softly, watching the door to see if she was going to come back.

Gwen sat down, phone out, bottle of coke in her hand. Her eyes swelled with tears as she looked at old photos of her families, particularly Matteo and Gabe. I miss you guys so much. Why did you have to go?

Eventually he just laid back down, tugging a blanket over himself further and closing his eyes. Caston yawned quietly before falling back asleep, hoping that Gwen would get at least a little more sleep before morning.

Gwen shut her phone off and then finished the bottle. Going back to the bedroom, she shot some calming magic through her hands. She climbed back into bed and snuggled up to Caston, knowing full well that she would probably get no more sleep.

Caston draped an arm over Gwen and continued to sleep, rolling onto his side and pulling her slightly closer to him.

Safe. It's the word that springs to Gwen's mind. With Carson, she feels safe, as if nothing can hurt her.

Gwen stared at the sleeping Caston. He looked so peaceful, like nothing had happened to him. She brushed a curl out of his face.
