Zachary let out another breath, shrugging slightly. He had no idea. Buried urges that just became too much? But… There hadn't seemed to be true maliciousness towards Nix, and the person murdered was someone who had hurt Cas. So… Mistakes? But he hadn't seemed to have changed his path of don't these horrendous things.
Cas sighed shakily, keeping his face buried. "I just… I don't know what to do. You and I have been together almost all the time recently, so Halm was really all Nix had… that relationship was so good for him, but I can't trust Halm anymore… not after what he did…"

Zachary nodded, letting out a small hum of agreement. He'd prefer if Halm never got to go near Nix again. They had had a good thing between them, they really had, but that wasn't enough to rectify what had happened.
"I don't know how to help Nix, either… he'll get so lonely after losing that, Zachary. I don't expect him to do well, I just… w-wait, where's Gloria? Maybe she can talk to him?"

Zachary shrugged. He had absolutely no idea where the therapist was. Maybe she was still in Halm's pocket? Nix might know, but they weren't about to wake him up and ask.
"Gloria!" Cas called out, just hoping that the soul would be able to hear him. Nix's ears twitched at the noise, but he stayed unconscious for now.

There was no response. Zachary carefully put his hand on Cas's shoulder. If he kept yelling, Nix might wake up, and the cat needed his sleep.
Cas sighed and buried his face in Zachary's chest. "I-I guess we'll fetch her when Nix wakes up again, yeah?"

Zachary nodded. He let out a soft coo again, his hand moving up to run through Cas's hair. They would figure everything out.
Cas held tightly to Zachary while he waited for Nix to stir, which he did after a little less than an hour. He yawned and looked up at Cas and Zachary weakly, his cheeks still a bit blotchy from crying so much.

Zachary, had rubbed Cas's head and back gently most the entire time they waited. He glanced over when he saw movement, nudging Cas a little. Nix was awake.
"H-Hey, Nix… how are you doing?" Cas whispered gently, rubbing Nix's ears a bit to calm him. Nix didn't reply, only curling in on himself and drawing in a shaky breath. Cas sighed and slipped off of the bed. "I'm gonna go get Gloria."

Zachary nodded. He shifted a bit to be next to Nix. He'd watch over him while Cas was gone. He gave Cas a soft look. All of this was horrible.
Halm was still on the bathroom floor, having not moved. There was as small puddle of blood from his nose, but it wasn't bleeding anymore.
Nix hesitated before huddling up against Zachary for comfort, flattening back his ears again as he hiccuped.
"Gloria?!" Cas called out from the hallway. "We need you for a second, please!"

Zachary carefully wrapped his arms around Nix, rubbing his head gently. He rocked the cat a little, keeping him close. He let out a soft hum.
Still, no response. Halm slowly sat up.
"She's not here," he said quietly.
A couple tears rolled down Nix's cheeks when Zachary didn't push him away and he buried his face in the other's shoulder, beginning to tremble again.
"Where the hell is she, then?! Nix needs her right now!" Cas huffed, crossing his arms. Being around Halm still pissed him off.

Zachary gently rubbed Nix's head and back, grip on his tightening a bit. He wasn't the biggest fan on the cat, but he was hurt, and Zachary couldn't just turn him away.
"She's out getting another goddess. Nix and I…" Halm trailed off. "She'll be back when the goddess gets here. I can't tell you when that will happen." His voice was small, soft.
"I'm s-sorry…" Nix whispered, holding tightly to Zachary as he cried.
Cas groaned and turned back around, returning to his bedroom. "Apparently she's out getting a goddess or something."

Zachary shook his head a little, hand going up to hold Nix's head as he cried. He looked up when Cas came back, Nix still held close. He nodded a bit. That would explain her being gone, then, and who knew when she would be back.
Cas came over and sat on the bed, gently running his fingers through Nix's hair. "We'll get her for you as soon as she comes back, alright?" He murmured, trying to keep his voice soft so as to keep Nix calm. "And you can have a nice conversation with her and she'll help you out."

Zachary nodded. He didn't move Nix off of him when Cas came back, simply sitting close to him. He kept quiet, because what would he say? Love? That wasn't a good idea.
Nix nodded weakly and hiccuped, sitting back to rub at his teary eyes. "Is… is she gonna be back soon?" He asked. "I honestly have no clue, Nix… I don't know how far away this goddess is or how long she's been gone."

Zachary sat with Cas and Nix, one arm going around both of them. Everything was changing, yet again.
It wasn't that long before there was a knock at the door. Zachary looked up, eyebrows drawing together.
"Who is it?" Cas asked suspiciously, putting himself between Nix and the door in case it was Halm. "What do you want?" Nix whimpered shakily and huddled closer to Zachary.

"My name's Serna. I was asked to come?" The vioce that called out was female, deep and rich with a slight southern accent. Zachary wrapped his arm more securely around Nix, turning a bit to shield the cat.
"Oh! Alright, um… come on in, I guess. I'm… presuming that Halm asked for you?" He asked, huffing a bit as he got up and opened the door for the goddess.

"Yes he did." The woman was just as tall as Halm, a bit plumper with wide hips. She had tiny horns on her head, the same deathly tone to her skin. She held one hand out, Gloria sat there.
"I was told he and another wanted to talk with me?"
"Well, now might be a bad time consisting that Halm is currently bleeding on the floor of his bathroom and the other person is presumably Nix, who he just raped." Cas growled, stepping back to make sure Nix was covered. Nix hiccuped again and clung tighter to Zachary, burying his face further into the other's shoulder. "You're welcome to beat his ass better than I did. I'd have loved to do more, but the size difference makes it hard for me to do any real damage."

Serna blinked a few times, eyebrows drawing together as she does grew more concerned and angry.
"He… What?" Serna took a deep breath, setting Gloria down before heading to the bathroom to beat some sense into Halm. Zachary held Nix to himself, rocking him a bit again. Gloria seemed stunned, sitting where she had been set down.
Nix sobbed quietly into Zachary's shoulder, starting to shake more violently. Cas sighed shakily and sat back down, running his fingers through his hair. "W-We've been looking for you, Gloria. Halm… he… he also did something to Zachary, I'm not sure what, and now he can't speak or walk or… much of anything, really. He's been improving a little, though." Cas gently kissed Zachary's cheek.
