Zachary smiled, kissing Cas in turn. He loved it when Cas was happy like this.

"Love you too~" Cas rested his head on Zachary's shoulder with a soft sigh. "D'you think she's gone yet?"

Zachary looked up a moment, nodding.
"She is," he confirmed.
Cas breathed a quiet sigh of relief and nodded. "Alright… we should probably head back out there, then."

Zachary looked at Cas a moment.
"Do you want to?" he asked softly.
"Yeah, as long as she's not out there…" Cas kissed Zachary's cheek softly.

Zachary leaned into the kiss lightly, nodding a bit. He turned them, unlocking the door and heading out. Serna was sitting with Nix, lips pursed.
Cas looked up at Nix and Serna nervously when he and Zachary came out of the bedroom. Nix was idly eating some chicken that Serna had given him.

Serna was rubbing Nix's back a bit, mostly just thinking to herself. She looked up when Zachary and Cas came out.
"Hey," she said softly.
"Hey… she's gone, right? Did she tell you what she did to me?" Cas asked softly, moving a bit closer to Zachary.

"She's gone… What happened?" Serna looked confused and worried, sitting up a bit and looking at Cas. Zachary held Cas close, kissing his head.
"U-Um… she dragged me off to the bathroom, stripped off all my clothes, and forced me into the bath… I kept yelling at her to stop because you know… I was kinda terrified… but she never stopped."

Serna let out a soft gasp.
"Did she hurt you?" she said. She stood, setting Nix down a moment to go over. "I'm so sorry I didn't hear…"
Cas rubbed at his eyes a bit and hiccuped. "S-She pushed my head under the water and I was choking but she still wouldn't stop… when she finally let me get out, I yelled at her…"

Zachary held Cas close, gently rubbing his head.
"I'm so sorry," Serna said softly. She knelt down by Cas and Zachary, terrified this had happened in her home.
Cas buried his face in Zachary's shoulder and sighed shakily. "It's not your fault, miss Serna… I just… she's also the one who was strangling me and made Halm claim me in the first place… I don't wanna see her again…"

Serna took a deep breath at this, nodding.
"I'm not going to let her get anywhere near you again, okay sweetie?"
Cas nodded weakly, holding tighter to Zachary. "It really s-scared me… I told her I was scared of water and I even told her why…"

Zachary tucked Cas's head under his chin, holding his lover close.
"Oh sweetie," Serna said softly.
Nix tentatively wandered over and pet Cas's head, looking worried. "A-And she was the one who killed Zachary, too…"

Zachary stiffened a bit at that. He knew that Serna already knew, but still, it was a horrible memory of his. He kissed Cas's head.
"I know, sweetie," Serna said gently. "And I'm going to make sure she won't be able to come anywhere near you again, okay?"
"O-Okay…" Cas hiccuped a couple of times and huddled closer to Zachary. "Why's she gotta be so mean?"

"I don't know," Serna admitted. Zachary ran his fingers through Cas's hair, hoping to calm him down again.
Nix huddled up against Serna side and sighed softly, his tail flicking back and forth. "Did… did something happen to her, or is she just naturally a bitch?"

"I… I don't know. Others think something happened, but I don't know." Serna shook her head slightly, an apologetic look on her face. She wrapped one arm around Nix.
Cas nodded a bit and fidgeted nervously. "I… I don't like her…" He whispered weakly. "I don't like her at all…"

"I don't either," Serna admitted softly. "And I'm so, so sorry she was here…"
Cas nodded again. "Why was she here? I think Zachary said something about her hurting her human…"

"She… she did hurt him, yes. I… It's my job to care for claimed when the gods… over them, can't. New bodies, major healings… altercations." The last word was spoken softly.
Cas shivered a bit and nodded once more. "I wish she'd be nice to him… I haven't met him, but I'm sure he doesn't deserve that."
