"No, no," King smiled back being brought out of his thought. He was honestly worried he couldn't handle dating her, "I'm worried you can't handle me."

She raised an eyebrow before leaning closer to him. "We'll see won't we?"
Soon she stood, running her hand through her hair.
King stood up a moment after her. He readjusted his clothes hoping he still looked presentable enough, "We will see. Later today hopefully."

"oh? Well I sure hope so" she says cocking her hip to the side and putting her hand on it.
King walked past her grinning, "If that's so. My place or yours?"

“Well, if you would be such a gentleman, i would prefer yours” she winked at him. She didnt want her sister knowing about this. Mostly because she’d tease her to no end
King laughed and stayed by her now. This could be some decent revenge on his roommate and all his antics, "Then mine it will be. It's only, what, an hour or two till 3?"

She looked at the time on her phone, the light from it making her green eyes seem brighter than they were before she clicked it off. “40 minutes till. Close enough though” she smiled at him.
“We should probably at least act like i was showing you the storage room when we walk out” she suggested with a little chuckle.
King grinned and resisted the temptation to pull her into another kiss. He looked around the storage room, “Ah yes. All of these boxes are simply filled with shoes. And nothing but shoes right?”

Catching his grin, his lips made her want to kiss him even more and it showed in her body language.
“Well, there are also plenty of clothes, but the taller boxes” the one he pushed her against. Oh, but thats not important now is it ;) “yes, those all have shoes in them.” She continued as she hesitantly put her hand on the handle of the door, cracking it open. She didnt quite want to leave, but she knew they should.
King could tell she wanted to kiss him. It was clear in her body and then she gestured to the box he had been pinned against and he started to feel that same rush all over again. God he couldn’t keep his shit together for a minute let alone 40. This was going to be torture absolute torture. He nodded along waiting fir her, “Ah yes. That makes much more sense now.”

“Oh, well I’m glad i could clear up some confusion” she says forcing herself to open the door more.
A few plans started to mix around in her mind of what they would do afterwards. Maybe go out to eat, talk a little bit. Possibly get drunk. Knowing her, there was a high possibility of that.
After that they would go to his place. Though she didnt know he had a roommate.
“Well thank you,” King nodded along smiling. He had decided that she could take the lead on what happened tonight. Not his inability to actually control and the fact that he kind of wanted, needed, her to dominate over him. Definitely not that. He already figured his roommate would be out fucking some other chick like he so often did. King was glad he rarely brought them to their place, only when it was the only option.

They walked out to the counter to see her coworker dealing with an angry lady saying she wanted the discount she saw online. He was desperately trying to explain to her that it was a scam and they didn't give people only with blonde hair a discount. A Karen….
She only laughed it off and nodded towards them, leaning against the wall and watched. “He’s usually the one dealing with the angry customers. I could beat them to the ground if i needed, but he was apparently more scary than me” she crossed her arms stubbornly. She was obviously a little salty that she wasn't actually allowed to beat people up and be scary and dominant. Though she was going to be able to tonight. (What, who said that O.0)

King watched the insane lady go off on Aria’s coworker. He pulled his notebook out and just made a little nite of it. He was almost positive this was part of his assignment, “He seems to be able to handle them well enough. Though I’m sure you could do just as well.”

"pfft " she flipped her hair over her shoulder with the back of her hand "of course I could. She'd be on the ground in approximately three seconds. Five if she was expecting it. She would be out here by now. See, we're not actually allowed to hurt them, but they don't know that. So he gives the impression that he can definitely handle her. We don't get these type of people very well, but every now and then we do and he just steps in front of them. They stop yelling and take their leave. I do admit, it's smart. But…. I can handle it. But it's fine, I'll be able to handle someone else later today anyway" she says casually, though a smirk on her lips. They were no longer glossed over and now showed her natural lips softness.
King had a smile on as she watched her talk. His eyes trailed to her lips before snapping back up to her eyes when she said her last sentence. He, he would never admit how much he was affected by the mere suggestion or even her just casually saying it. He felt his cheeks turn red, but gave her a smile back, "It's probably a good thing that you aren't allowed to hurt them. Though I'm sure you could pin her quiet easily and anyone else whom, you might wish too."

She knew whether he chose to show it or not, that she had an affect on him. Though she didn't know the extent. Would she ever?
She turned to him instead of looking at the lady and her coworker. "oh, I could do so much worse" her voice soft and calming yet a dangerous tip to her tongue. She wasn't joking either. She's killed so many people easily. It was a mystery even to her how nobody knew who she was.
King appeared to remain calm on the outside, though is inner thoughts were in turmoil. He didn't know what she meant by that, and he almost wanted to. There were many ways that one sentence could go. She could be implying that she could do worse than just pin a person and hold her own in a fight. That was probably the best place his mind went to, the others were much too… Dangerous or much too kinky.

Aria was a kinky person, no doubt about that. But believe it or not she was a bit embarrassed about it. She wouldn't admit to it unless the other person did first. In which they never have. She hasnt had a hook up in a while though, but she definitely wasn't rusty
His mind wandered to a few other places before he shook himself out of it. He hadn't been with someone or thought like this in so long. King cleared his throat and finally responded, "I have no doubts you can do worse."

King saw the smile and felt his heart start to speed up again. He grinned back, "Maybe you should. Just so that I know you really can."

“Oh, so now are you doubting me?” She raised an eyebrow looking his body up and down before they came back up to his eyes in a challenging manner
"No," King responded as he saw her look at him. He decided to return the favor his eyes trailing over every part of her body before back up to her eyes, "I want to see you do it."

“Oh well i take that as a challenge. And with that” she paused, letting him look over her. “I accept. See you there” she flicked his nose and sauntered over to her coworker, swaying her hips as usual.
“Hey, are your ears alright? My ears would be bleeding if she yelled at me that much” Aria joked as she looked up at the tall man. “Oh, its fine.” His voice low and raspy. “She was too short, her voice didn't get up here as much” he joked with her. He was actually very sweet, but he could look extremely mean.
King felt his body shudder involuntarily as she walked away. Oh he was so screwed tonight and that was fine with him. He stayed by the counter leting the two coworkers converse on their own. His time was about up anyway.

“Though if we have another Karen, I’m letting you deal with it. She was really annoying” he says with a sad puppy look. “Oh, but they’re not scared of me and you know it.” Aria says crossing her arms and sitting up on the counter. They talked a bit more until he realized the man by the wall.
“Who’s the lucky guy huh?” He gestured over to him, elbowing Arias arm playfully. “Oh that’s King. He came here for-“ she paused, thinking back on everything that happened before letting out a small smile.
“For a school assignment.”
“Oh i see. How’s that going?” He asked with a chuckle
King's head perked up. He could tell they were talking about him and he was fine with that. He was writing in his notebook things that he deemed useful. Mainly about the different aspects of working at the store along with how they could possibly get into legal trouble.
