“It’s okay…you did what you thought you needed to.” He said. He hadn’t noticed how the trinket in his hands was changing, but he would, and he’d be very upset when he did.

Astral nodded some.
"I actually have to do some work now," he said with a soft chuckle. "Can you handle your own dinner?" Astral took his hand away finally. The trinket was growing cold very, very slowly. It was so painful, to be screaming so loudly without anyone hearing them, not being able to see anything, feel anything, to be able to do anything at all. If Simon didn't catch on soon, they would go insane…

“Mhm I should be fine.” He noticed the trinket growing cold in his hands but couldn’t acknowledge it until Astral was gone.

"Okay." Astral stood, smiling. "I probably won't see you for the rest of the day, so enjoy yourself." Astral hummed, leaving the room finally.

“What’s going on? Are you okay?” He asked the trinket in his hands quickly. It was growing colder and he was worried. “What do I do?”

Nothing. Nothing at all. It couldn't have been because they were afraid of Astral- his footsteps could have been heard clearly. No, no, something was wrong.

Simon didn’t know what to do, he was starting to panic now. He couldn’t lose them. He wouldn’t let that happen. “What do I do, what do I do??” He mumbled, trying to think.

There was nothing, nothing at all from the trinket. In their mind they were sobbing, still desperately trying to break the bind Astral had put on them. Still, they grew colder. And colder.

((AHHHHHH IDK WHAT TO DOOOOO))

(LOOK IN THE OTHER ONE I TOLD YOU THERE!)

((OKAYYYYYYY))

He didn’t know what Astral had done to the trinket but he knew he wasn’t able to fix it on his own. Sadly, it seemed he needed to tell Astral. He got up, quickly going to find the other.

Astral was in his workroom, the door opened a bit. Nathan was no where to be seen, put away entirely. The god looked up when he heard Simon coming.
"Is something wrong?" he asked.

“C-can you fix it please?” He asked, holding out the trinket to Astral. “Please. I’m sorry if we upset you.” His words came out in a rush, knowing he didn’t have much time.

Astral's eyes widened a bit. This definetly wasn't a response he'd been expecting from Simon, at all. He was silent, but he put his hands out, resting them on the trinket. It a moment, the bind was broken, and the trinket was gasping, sobbing still.

He pulled the trinket close to his chest. “T-thank you..I’m sorry..” he said, back to being timid now that the trinket wasn’t in trouble.

Astral let out a soft sigh.
"No, I'm sorry," he said quietly. The trinket was still sobbing, trembling like a leaf in Simon's hands. It had been so cold, so bare…

Simon nodded but he wasn’t sure if he even believed Astral. “It’s fine….”

"Truly. I should have realized I was hurting both of you…" Astral reached out one hand to rest on Simon's cheek.

Simon let Astral do it, but he stayed quiet for a few seconds. “Just don’t do it again…please?” He asked, leaning into Astral’s touch.

(laughs in new thing to use to manipulate Simon)

"I won't," Astral said, voice soft. "I promise." Astral moved forward a bit, hugging Simon.
"I'm sorry I acted so rashly. I should have seen there was nothing wrong, that they weren't harassing you…"

(( :( )

“I-it’s Okay, we all make mistakes.” He knew it wasn’t a mistake.

Astral knew it hadn't been one either, but he kept quiet. He pulled away from Simon, sighing softly.
"Go on back to the room," he said softly. "I think it might be best for you to tend to her at the moment." So, the trinket had been a woman, then. Before Astral made her like this. Taken everything away- her name, her body, her humanity.

He nodded. “O-okay. Thank you..” He said quietly, leaving the work room.

((Dang do you think Simon could ever do something to actually make Astral angry?? Just randomly wondering lmao))

(Potentially, yes. The quickest way I could think of is him, like, making a giant mess or accidently breaking the wrong trinket (yes there are actually some Astral cares about it's complicated))

Astral watched Simon go, closing the door behind him. The trinkets in the living room seemed to stare Simon down as he went by them, but they were also staring at the statue tucked away in Simon's hands. She was still sobbing, completely terrified.

((Cool….well I don’t think Simon would do anything to annoy Astral on purpose unless Astral really fucks up.))

Simon tried to ignore them as he walked, gently stroking the small statue in his hands. “It’s okay now…” he said softly.

(alrighty!)

The trinket sobbed a moment more.
He- he's never d-done– done something like that before–! She managed to sputter out.

“Oh my god really? I’m so sorry…it’s my fault..” he said softly, settling back down on the bed with her in his hands.

N-no… I sh-should have– have known he w-would catch us talking eventually… The trinket looked up at Simon, still crying softly- you could hear it in her voice..

“I’m sorry, I didn’t think he would do something this awful…” he frowned, gently stroking the trinket. He was upset at Astral still for having even done it in the first place.

He… the trinket trailed off. He h-has done… done many things…
